Chapter 3

Aetherius, the ethereal being who oversees my rebirth process, approaches me. A gentle aura surrounds Aetherius as he begins to explain the unique circumstances of my rebirth.

"Welcome, Leeanna, to the realm of Elysium. I am Aetherius, I am also the guardian of rebirth, and I'm here to guide you on the beginning of your new life. You may be wondering about the nature of your rebirth, so allow me to shed some light on your new existence."

"You see, dear Leeanna, you have been granted a remarkable opportunity. Instead of being born as a baby, you have been reborn as an adult. Your wisdom and experiences from your old World are preserved, as you have wished, allowing you to navigate this realm with a greater understanding. However, there is more to your rebirth than just that."

"As a gift from the gods and goddesses of Elysium, you have been bestowed with three wishes from each deity. These divine beings have recognized your potential and have granted you the power to shape your destiny within this realm. You may request aid, knowledge, or even material possessions through these wishes."

"Now, it is important to note that your rebirth will occur within a body that has already passed away. This body is a vessel, waiting for your soul to step into it and bring it to life once more. The previous soul has departed, leaving the body alive but empty. It is within this vessel that you will fulfill your purpose and embark on your adventures in Elysium."

"A word of caution, however. The wishes granted by the gods and goddesses are not limitless. They must align with the realm's laws and the balance of power within Elysium. Additionally, they cannot interfere with the free will of others or alter the overarching fabric of this world. So, choose your wishes wisely, for they will shape your journey within this fantastical realm."

"With this understanding, dear Leeanna, embark on your path with courage and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. We welcome you, and the gods and goddesses eagerly await your wishes. May your rebirth be filled with wonder, purpose, and fulfillment."

As Aetherius finishes speaking, he leaves me to contemplate the weight and potential of my newfound existence in this fantasy world.

So I began to think.

As I  stood in their divine presence, my mind and heart filled with the memories of my past life. I remembered my deep fascination with alchemy, magic, and craftsmanship. With unwavering determination, I begin to speak, "Dear gods and goddesses, my first wish is for you to grant me the abilities I once read about in my books. I desire the powers of alchemy, the art of transforming base materials into precious substances. I yearn to brew potions of great potency, capable of healing, enhancing, and even bestowing magical abilities upon those who consume them."

The gods and goddesses, recognizing Leeanna's burning passion and his desire to delve into the secrets of the arcane, smiled upon him. They granted him the divine gift of alchemical mastery, ensuring that he would possess unparalleled skill in the art of potion brewing. He would be able to harness the forces of nature, the essence of life, and the magic that flowed through the realms, to create potions of incredible power and effects.

I turned my attention to the vast array of magical abilities that existed in Elysium. "my second wish is for you to grant me the ability to wield any form of magic. Let me be a vessel for all types of magic, able to harness their immense energies and cast spells with skill and precision."

The gods, impressed by Leeanna's audacious request, smiled upon him once again. They blessed him with the extraordinary ability to utilize any form of magic. leeanna would become a conduit, able to tap into the vast well of magic that flows through the realms and wield them with finesse and control.
