"Layla" Layla heard Stefan yell and walked into Stefan's room. "What" Layla said. "Have you seen Elena" Stefan asked. "She stayed over last night but now she's gone" Stefan said.
"You tore me away from reading my favorite book series to see if I knew where Elena was" Layla said. "Layla" Stefan said.
"No, I haven't seen her sorry" Layla said. "She knows about Katherine, and she left her necklace" Stefan said. "Have you seen Damon" Stefan asked worriedly.
"No not recently" Layla said and Stefan called Elena only for Damon to answer her phone.
"Elena's phone" Damon said once he answered the phone. "Where is she why do you have her phone is she okay" Stefan asked over the phone.
"Elena" Damon asked. "Oh, she's right here and yes she's fine" Damon said.
"Where are you" Stefan asked. "Let me speak to her" Stefan said. Damon offered to phone to Elena.
"He wants to talk to you" Damon said and Elena shook her head.
Damon put the phone back to his ear. "Yeah, I you know I don't think she really wants to talk to you right now" Damon said.
"Damon, I swear to god of you touch her" Stefan said. "You have a good day mm hm bye now" Damon said and hung up the phone and Stefan looked at Layla worried. "What is it" Layla asked.

"Bonnie" Stefan said as he and Layla went to Bonnie. "Stefan, Layla" Bonnie said when she saw them. "Hey" Stefan said. "Hi" Bonnie said.
"Hey, hi good we're acquainted" Layla said. "I uh haven't seen you lately" Stefan told Bonnie. "How are you doing with everything" Stefan asked. "I'm fine all's fine" Bonnie said. "Good" Stefan said.
"Yeah" Bonnie said. "Awkward" Layla said as it was silent. "Are you back in school you and Layla" Bonnie asked Stefan.
"No actually I came here to find you I was hoping you could help me with something a spell" Stefan said. "That's why we're here are you kidding me" Layla said to Stefan mad as Bonnie faced Stefan and Layla.
"Stefan, look I know Elena's okay with all of this, and I appreciate what you did to help me but I'm not really ready to dive into it with you just yet or Layla, but she seems to be more understanding right now from the angry looks she's giving you" Bonnie said.
"I understand that, but I need your help it's Elena she's with Damon" Stefan said.

"I have Elena's necklace I was just hoping you could use this to make some sort of a connection I just need to know that she's okay" Stefan said to Bonnie.
"How do you know I can do this" Bonnie asked. "Because I've known a few witches over the years I've seen what they can do" Stefan said.
"I'm still new at it" Bonnie said. "It's okay to be honest we shouldn't even be getting you involved" Layla said glaring at Stefan as she had a soft spot for the Bennett witch.
"Give it a shot" Stefan told Bonnie. "Okay" Bonnie said taking a breath.
"Alright" she said and tried to use magic only for nothing to happen as she sighed.
"There's nothing, nothing's happening usually there's an image or" Bonnie said and stopped.
"Bonnie it's okay Stefan and I can figure something else out" Layla said. "Tell me if anyone's looking" Bonnie said as Layla sighed.
"Okay" Stefan said. Bonnie picked up a leaf and tried to do magic again only for nothing again to happen. "What is it" Stefan asked Bonnie.
"Something's wrong" Bonnie said. "With Elena" Stefan asked. "With me there's something wrong with me I have to go I'm sorry Stefan, Layla, I can't help you" Bonnie said and left.
As soon as she was out of sight Layla slapped Stefan. "Ow" Stefan said to Layla. Layla smiled at him innocently. "I'm going home I have a book to get to" Layla said before leaving.

There was a knock, on Layla's door and Layla put her book down. "What Stefan" Layla said as Stefan walked in.
"Just thought you like to know Elena's okay" Stefan said. "Good I'm glad" Layla said.
"Layla I'm sorry about Bonnie, I know you and the witches were close" Stefan said.
"We weren't close Stefan I just I look at Bonnie and I see my best friend the one that died when I was 10 who had cancer you can't use Bonnie, I won't let you I like Elena I do but Bonnie is human too and she deserves to live a happy life" Layla said.
"But how can she do that if people like us are gonna use her for our personal gain" Layla asked.
"Like how Katherine did with Emily and anyone else I won't let you do that to Bonnie now if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to my book" Layla said and Stefan sighed and left.
Layla then picked her book up once again and went back to her reading.
