YEARS AFTER THE CRIMES WERE COMMITED, nearly everyone moved away from Alabama by that time. As for those involved in the crimes, they were all leading very different lifestyles.
The killers, Grayson, Jesse, and Barney got away from the crime stain free, and ignored their past for the rest of their lives.
Barney married Jesse in the year 1980, and went on to have one child, Stuart Macher. Although he didn't know about his parents crimes, if he did, he might realize where all his homicidal rage came from.
Grayson although did not get married. Instead he spends most of his time traveling with the money he earns from being a photographer. Not exactly the lifestyle you'd expect from a former serial killer. If that was what you'd even call it.
Catalina stayed in Alabama, seeing therapy for the entire situation, and married a man from there, they bow have a total of five kids. Cat is the best mom they could ask for, and frequently visits her friends in Woodsboro.
Gabby never dated anyone after Sharona. Nothing seemed to fit her the way Sharona did. It took years and years of therapy for her to regain a normal lifestyle, but now, she's perfectly happy on her own working as a detective.
Derek barely survived Barney's shot to the head, but lost a lot of his memory, meaning he didn't remember who the killer was, and still thinks Barney is completely innocent. He then married a woman and has two kids with her. His path eventually led to him being a stay at home dad, which he's totally chill about.
Josie Macher and Jake Starz are still known as the Tuscumbia Slashers. At first, they were sentenced to death, but eventually they were sentenced to life and prison with no chance of parole.
The victims of the crimes lives are respected and remembered as the Tuscumbia four. People believe they got their justice, when really, that statement is far from the truth.
Rosa, already being a teen mom at the time the crimes were committed sadly died in the accident, but her son, Mickey, grew up in the Delango household after Catalina adopted him.
But, even today, the statement still stands. People Are truly Strange.
