Chapter 21: Running & Water

As much as I wanted to sleep in, I was woken up by someone.

"Get up!" I heard.

I rolled over and pulled the pillow over my face.

"Leighanne get up, we have training to do." I recognize the voice, it was Damon's.

"I want to sleep in." I said.

"Its 7:30 get up." Damon said. I sat up in bed and looked at Damon.

"7:30 is early for me." I said.

"I'm sorry princess. But get your ass up." Damon said leaving the room and shutting the door. I got up and put sweat pants and a tank top on, with my tennis shoes. I walked downstairs.

"I'm ready!" I yelled. I didn't see anyone. I walked around the house looking for them.

"Leighanne where are you?" I heard.

"Lost!" I yelled. Damon popped up behind me.

"Stop wandering off, we have a lot to do today." He said.

We walked to the front door. I saw Jeremy and Stefan loading up a few bags, including mine.

"Whoa!" I said running to grab my suitcase.

"You're going to stay at the lake house with Jeremy and Damon." Stefan said.

"I know but why do I need my stuff?" I asked.

"You're going to stay there, for a while." Stefan said.

"Whatever." I said.

"I think Klaus has rubbed off on you a bit." Damon said.

I got in Damon's car and sat in the back. I texted Klaus.

Good morning! :) I miss you. Can't wait to see you. - L

I put my phone away and buckled my seat belt. Damon and Jeremy got in and we drove to the lake house, which was an hour and a half drive. My phone beeped.

Good morning love! I miss you more, I'll be there in 4 more days. How is everything going? You're up early too. - K

Can't wait! Things are ok, I guess, and Damon made me get up at 7:30. :( - L

Are they being a problem? - K

Sort of. But I can deal with it. Call me at noon. :) - L

I locked my phone and we arrived at the lake house. I got out and looked around. I carried my stuff inside and Jeremy showed me around.

"This is nice." I said.

"Thanks." He said.

He showed me my room and I settled in again. I walked outside and Damon was standing in the yard.

"Gilbert!" Damon yelled. Jeremy walked out behind me.

"Jog around the lake." Damon said.

"The entire thing." I said.

"You know what make it twice." Damon said.

"Come on." Jeremy said, shaking his head at Damon.

"Wait!" Damon said. "Give me your cell phone."

"No." I said.

"Give it!" He yelled.

"Fine." I yelled slamming it in his hand.

Jeremy and I started running around the lake.

"Sorry about Damon, he's a dick sometimes." Jeremy said.
