''Is this... information accurate, Shikaku?'' Minato asked for more confirmation. The reports stated that his secret son, Naruto Uchihiha, has resurfaced after three years and killed two Akatsuki members. This was about a week after the one tails capture and confirmation had just been made.

"We checked and checked and checked it again, Minato. Master Jiraiya's spies themselves have confirmed it. He has finally decided to show himself.'' Shikaku answered. "Look, Minato, I am not one to suggest how you should act but you know the situation of the Leaf better than us. It's in a decline and will be for another decade at least. Naruto may be our only hope to end this decline and you have to get him back. And the methods you have to use aren't exactly the most honorable but it's for the village.''

''I know, Shikaku. Leaders are the ones who make the tough choices.'' Minato muttered. Mind alteration seals would have to be used on his secret son. ''It's... for the village after all.'' he muttered to himself again. That statement was the only way he could make himself feel better.

''Minato sensei! Is it true? Naruto has resurfaced?'' Kakashi asked as he entered his teacher's office.

''Yes, Kakashi. Naruto has resurfaced.'' Minato confirmed it. ''Apparently he killed Deidara and Sasori of the Akatsuki. We don't know where he is for now, Kakashi, but we are keeping our eyes and ears sharp. Right now though, I need you to help Genma's platoon in the Stone border.''

''I understand, sensei. Can you keep me informed of anything new on Naruto if found?'' Kakashi asked and his teacher nodded. After that, Kakashi left to do as he was ordered.

''Whatever happens, don't let Kakashi know of the methods we're going to use. If he does, he may develope some slightly un-subordinate behaviour.'' Minato told Shikaku who nodded. ''Now, Jiraiya sensei will return soon with Menma and Mito and we can then turn our attention to finding Naruto.''

(Orochimaru's secret base)

''He has resurfaced? After three long years?'' Orochimaru asked his right hand man, Kabuto Yakushi, who confirmed it.

''Yes, lord Orochimaru. He even killed Deidara and Sasori while he was at it.'' Kabuto answered.

''Two Akatsuki members, one of them my old partner, dead. Hehehe, he has grown quite powerful in the past three years, wouldn't you say, Kabuto? This can actually work to my advantage.'' Orochimaru said and got his right hand man intrigued.

''How so, lord Orochimaru?''

''Sasuke is becoming stronger, Kabuto. He's currently stronger than you and nearly on the level I was before Sarutobi sensei sealed my arms. Given my inability to use my arms, he might take it as an oppurtunity and strike me. As strong as Sasuke is, it's most likely that Naruto is even stronger than dear Sasuke. What I meant by 'this can can work to my advantage', Kabuto, is this: we fill in Sasuke's head of his cousin's feat in killing Deidara and Sasori. It will no doubt cause Sasuke to feel a bit jealous and want to fight Naruto. The two Uchihas can battle each other, weakening themselves and we move in. I get the sharingan and a host body that will allow me to accomplish all of my goals.''

''It could work, lord Orochimaru.'' Kabuto said as he understood his master's plan. ''Sasuke is still jealous over the fact that Naruto has the dragon contract and the eternal mangekyō. Without a doubt, he will want to face Naruto to prove himself to being the superior Uchiha.''

''Yes. The contract of the dragons and the eternal mangekyō will be an added bonus. Only problem now is in finding where Naruto is. Dispatch scouts to find where he may be hiding, Kabuto. I want Naruto's location identified within two months.'' Orochimaru ordered and the medic nin left to relay the orders. ''When you are found, Naruto, I will have you and Sasuke fight each other. Then, I will take you both in your weakened states and inhabit one of you. Come three years, I will have another body for me. Oh how great it will be for me when soon I will have the body to become an immortal god king!''
