Chapter 29 - Bite me (1) (JoongDunk)

"Where's your boyfriend?"

Dunk was asked in his live video chat with his buddy and colleague Phuwin.

"What, who do you mean?" Dunk acted surprised, although he knew very well who was the one he was mentioning.

"Well, who could be the one I'm talking about?"

Phuwin tilted his head, pursed his lips and raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, you mean Joong.... he had to go to university today, he has to turn in another project paper and they're probably working late there. Before the new shoot starts, that has to be done so he's on the same level as the others."

Dunk grinned, he would never admit it, but he enjoyed being asked about Joong all the time and seeing those definite looks from his friends and colleagues.

"Ah ok....then I guess you'll have to cry yourself to sleep today because no one will cuddle with you."

Puhwin laughed cheekily, hitting a trigger point on Dunk without knowing it.

"Oh come on, that's such bullshit.........especially you should be really quiet, who told me he's so excited about spending time with his partner because you guys have to fly to Chiang Rai tomorrow for 3 days for a commercial."

Phuwin's facial expression faltered. This video was live and there were some fans watching it. Of course, there was no need to tell them that he was incredibly eager to spend time alone with his partner, because there had been quite a spark between him and Pond during the last shooting, but their relationship with each other was not quite settled yet, so there were still some misunderstandings and small mutual injuries that they urgently needed to clear up with each other, but for which they just hadn't had time yet.

These 3 days in the hotel room together would certainly help.

"Of course I'm looking forward to it, Chiang Rai is beautiful and we have quite a few excursions planned. Well...uhm....and I should sleep now. I have to get up at 3am so I can be at the airport on time with Pond. See you soon then....bye bye."

They said a friendly goodbye and hung up.

Dunk grinned, he knew exactly how enamored Pond had been with Phuwin for some time and he was glad that Phuwin probably felt the same way.

Nevertheless, their relationship with each other was sometimes not so easy, since Phuwin acted rather emotionally and out of affect, and Pond sometimes reacted rather calmly and detachedly in situations where showing an emotion would have been much better.

He hoped for his two friends on their trip this would be clarified.

Dunk thought about what he should do next. Without Joong he was somehow bored.

Normally, his best friend would be sitting next to him right now, so wonderfully affectionate, and eating something with him, or playing a game.

Well, or they would visit one of their colleagues together, or watch a movie, something like that.

They had been kind of constantly meeting in their free time for some time now, and if that wasn't possible for work reasons, there was at least a video chat, sometimes late into the night.
