Chapter 66 - Just call it love (8) (DaouOffroad)

"Ter? Where are they going? Do you know where they want to go?"
Offroad had just come out of the bathroom, getting ready for the day, and saw that Joong and Dunk were on their way to their pick-up boat for their underwater excursion.
"When will they be back? Hopefully not to late, then we can still eat together."

He continued to ponder and nudged Daou, who was busy looking for something in his suitcase and therefore hardly listened to Raod.

"Ter? Aou? Can you hear me?" Offroad was surprised that his lover didn't respond.

"Damn it! I can't have lost it....oh no.....where is it....it was still here yesterday!"
Daou seemed to be on the verge of despair until he suddenly shouted out loud, startling Offroad out of the blue.

"AAAHHH, there it is....Thank God!!!"
He pulled a padded envelope out of his pocket and put it in a backpack he had prepared.

"What was that?" Offroad now asked curiously, because what Daou had made disappear again in such a flash now interested him more than the answer to his previous questions.

"Oh....that.....nothing you need to know now, I'll show you later, ok.....when we get to where we're staying tonight."
Daou was grinning broadly now, inwardly rejoicing at Offroad's now even more confused expression.

"God, you're so gorgeous when you look at me like that, Baobei." Daou exclaimed, completely enraptured, and pulled Road into his arms.

Offroad prevented a planned surprise kiss by holding Daou's head.

"Hey, charmer, what's going on here? Why did Joong and Dunk just disappear, why are you hiding envelopes from me and why didn't you tell me we were sleeping somewhere else tonight?"
Offroad raised an eyebrow and looked at his partner suspiciously.

"Oh Road, please..... just kiss me." Daou got all impatient, nervously pawing his feet like a cute, huge 5-year-old and pouting for all he was worth.
It was as if he couldn't concentrate on anything until his wish was finally granted.

"Not until you come out with it." Offroad showed no mercy and came really cheekily close to Daou's lips.

"It's supposed to be a surprise. Dunk didn't know about it either. Joong and I scheduled some quality time alone for our favorite men....it wouldn't be anything special anymore if we told you beforehand."

Daou looked at Offroad like he was walking over burning coals, he fucking needed those lips now.

A redeeming little smile crept onto Offroad's face and he finally pushed his head forward and allowed Daou to get what he wanted, even if it was only a quick peck in the end, it made him very happy already.

"Aou, but you have to tell me a little. I'll have to pack something if we sleep somewhere else tonight. You obviously have a backpack with you." Offroad pointed to Daou's overnight luggage.

"To be honest, I've already packed everything, even for you, well, except for what you just used in the bathroom."
Daou scratched his head nervously.
He wondered if he had been a little overzealous, but he had known Offroad for so long that it was completely natural for him to take what he needed out of his suitcase to pack for the night, so he had done it quickly for him.

No one knew Road better than Daou. Really no one, maybe not even his own mother.
He really had thought of everything, including the one or two individual little things that Offroad needed for his night routine, but other people probably didn't by default.

An incredibly amorous pair of eyes looked at Daou and wonderfully soft lips first gave him a wide grin and then a gentle but intense kiss.

Offroad had realized in that moment that he really had no reason to ask what Daou wanted to surprise him with, because no matter what it was, he would surely love it, because it was something that the person who loved him in a way no one else ever had before had thought up.
