<A/N> this is based off of the Riff Off from Pitch Perfect. This is also a AU for Ten and Rose. Where they are in college.
Rose POV
The Riff Off. All a Capella groups from our university to come and win, well.....nothing actually. Just respect. The Companions we are called. The first all female a Capella group consisting of Sarah Jane, Maratha Jones, Donna Noble, and myself. They just picked me up a few months ago when Sarah dragged me to auditions.
At initiations I meet him. John Smith. He was singing Time Warp in his blue car and drove off. Then found me singing it and wouldn't leave me alone. Honestly he was really cute. His hair that refuses to be tamed and that goofy grin of his. And his voice was like heaven. But groovy at the same time. His group was called The TARDIS. Group leader Jimmy Stone, Jack Harkness, Mickey Smith (Ex but still good friends), and John himself.
So here we are standing in the middle of an frozen pool waiting for- for- I don't his name. All I know is that he a chubby and holds the flashlight that picks our categories. We were standing on the ice when John came up to me with Jack not far behind.
"Hello" said Jack winking at me. His american accent surprising me. I never heard him speak.
"Hey, Hey, Hey no flirting." John warned.
"But I was just-"
"Nope no flirting. Sorry he does that." I had to stifle a laugh.
"Came up just to say that you're going to lose."
"You think so? It might just be the effect of your boxers up your arse." I heard ooose from the far left. It was my group laughing and pointing fingers at him.
"Well lets see when we sing shall we?"
"We shall." I winked and he smirked while backing away from each other. Soon flashlight guy comes out and everybody makes noise and claps.
"Welcome to the riff off! Let's get started!"
Everyone screams. I don't know how these things work so I'm nervous.
"The first category is...!" He turns on the flashlight and points it to the wall the emit and spinning wheel to land on-
"Ladies of the 80's!"
Once said Mickey jumps in the middle of the circle stomping his feet and knew what song it was.
"Oh Mickey you're so fine! You're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey!" He sand with his group backing him up.
"Oh Mickey your so-"
"Fine and your mine." the other group cut them off like that.
"Yeah you make me feel. oh yeah you make me feel, so shiny and new. Like a virgin. Touched for the very first time-"
And then Martha cut her off
"Like the one in me, that's okay. let's see how you do it. Put up your dukes, let's get down to it! Hit me with your best shot. Why don't you hit me with your best shot. Hit me with your best shot, fire away-"
And suddenly some girl with a big sweater and a beanie comes off and cuts her off.
"It must be in love." she starts but sounds horrible. "But it's over now!" and everyone laughs at her. "but it's over right now."
"The negative side effects of medical marijuana, folks." flashlight guy says over her.
"You are" we all clap twice "Cut off!" everyone says and starts clapping.
