"Last time lord in the universe who has fought off all sorts of aliens and you can't change a simple light bulb?"

The TARDIS was being stubborn saying The doctor should start doing things for him self instead of having her do everything for him. So when he asked her to fix the light bulb in The library she refused only to drop a box of light bulbs down.

"Well I'll have you know I'm trying my best."

"Yeah sure."

"You know Rose you are the one to ask to change it in the first place so don't start with me."

"Well if you hadn't had start talking gibberish I wouldn't have to look up what you're saying." Rose said crossing her arms
The doctor looked down at her from the ladder he was on and stepped down to fully look at her. The only light source coming from the hall light giving him a nice glow.

"Fine you go and change the bulb and see what happens."
Rose put a hand on her chest to mock hurt.

"So your saying just because I'm a woman I can't fix a bulb?"

" Oh don't try and twist this you know exactly what I said."

"But you implied it."

"Rose-"

"Alright alright I'll go. Just to show your alien arse how it's really done."
She turned around to see the ladder gone. She looked and felt all around for it but found nothing.

"Um doctor the ladder is gone."

"What?"
He too did the same and couldn't find anything. He tried mind linking with the TARDIS and asking for it back when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Rose leaning on the couch.

"Don't even try asking because I know she won't give it back."

"Then what are we supposed to do?"

Rose smirked

"Get down on one knee."

The doctor raised one eye brow. "What?"

"I said one knee now!"

He slowly got on one knee and saw Rose stand up and walk behind him and everything clicked.

"Rose don't you- bloody hell!"

Rose was now on his back with her legs around his torso and her one arm around his neck
with one on his shoulder

"Weathers' nice up here"

"Shut up"
She laughed and he softend a bit. The only person to make him smile the way he did now. But there was no time to think about him and Rose like that when she is on his back.

"Now hand me your sonic" she said pulling him out of his thoughts. He reached in and held it up for her to get. He could feel it leave his hand and he could hear the buzzing sound and the blue light. They stood like that for at least five minutes when Rose said she was almost done and he was about to give out.

"Ah what!"

"What happened?"

"The light thingy moved to the other side thing."

"What?"

Now you know how I feel

"You know what just move."

"Move? Move how?"

"Forget it hold on"

Rose had to twist to get her to the doctor's front so she could get to the right side but she slid in the process and the doctor had to keep her from falling by putting his hand on her waist. Which made it incredibly difficult and awkward for him.

"Are you done?" He asked hurriedly

"Just have to move this and...done!" And then he dropped her making her slide right flush in front of him but he caught her so she had her legs around his waist facing him with her arms around his neck.

And then the light turned on.

She looked up meeting his eyes and started right back. Their breathing being mixed due to the proximity. Then he slightly closed his eyes and leaned in closing the distance. Her hands went from his neck to his hair. He legs letting go and hitting the floor making her tumble a bit making the doctor steady her and bring her closer.

They finally pulled away and he grinned like a mad man.

" You should change the light bulbs for now on."

"Yeah I should."
