Acronius

Prologue

Long ago, the great nation of Acronious was in shambles. Wars spread all across the world, and Acronious involuntarily served as the main arena for the all out battle. As the land placed in the middle of all other contries on the continent, Acronious's land was highly valued and sought after. Acronious was on the brink of total annihilation when two great warriors arose. A man known as Magnus who was extremely gifted in combat, began to break his limits, and took on the entire army of the neighboring nation Klevainia, pushing them back single handedly. While Magnus defended the north from one of the fiercest armies one the world, the south was still taking on another monster army. The warrior who wielded a hammer that would eventually be called Virubus, defended the south of the country, fighting the army of Karona. His name, was Brutus. He was a friend to Magnus, and he believed that he'd be better off to die defending his country, then to live safely while his country was destroyed. With the two biggest, most problematic armies in the world at the time being held at bay, there were still several small nations sending in their troops in hopes of claiming even the smallest bit of land. Acronious's army quickly regathered themselves, preparing to go on the offensive. At its front, was the mind behind the newly improved army, Partum. He was an incredible strategist, and his smarts would be the saving grace of Acronious. He organized two squads of soldiers to go back up Magnus and Brutus, while developing another five squads to defend the east and the west. He sent two squads to the east and two to the west, and he had one squad stay behind to protect the nation's civilians. The two he sent to the west were led by Mentis and Ura. Mentis was a very strong willed man, with an unbreakable drive to protect those he loved. Ura was a very level headed, confident, strong woman, who could defuse any situation with her words alone. Partum himself went to the east, along with Aleena. Aleena though known for her beauty, was a very crafty warrior, and could weave the most intricate traps and ambushes that the world had seen. He left the rest of the nation in the hands of Amora. Also known for her beauty, Amora was thought of as meek, but when she protected her loved ones, she was merciless. She was gifted in healing, and was able to protect and heal all of the nation's civilians. Together the 7 warriors were known as the Salvatores Septem, or the Seven Saviors. With the help of their reinforcements, the Salvatores Septem defeated all of their attackers, effectively ending the war. The Acronians elected Magnus to be their Emperor, to honor his bravery that ultimately saved the nation. He was known as the father of the Rectio, which would be the name of his bloodline who'd inherit his position in leading the nation. Magnus sought out the help of the rest of the Salvatores Septem, appointing each of them a role in rebuilding and strengthening Acronious. Brutus was appointed as the leader of the army, which was now called the Fortis Militum. Brutus fathered the Fortis bloodline, who would continue leading the Militum long after his own reign. The bloodlines strongest warrior would be groomed into the position by the previous leader, and would be allowed to wield the great hammer, Virubus. Magnus gave Partum the important role of setting in place laws, and rebuilding the government, becoming Magnus's personal advisor. Partum fathered the bloodline that would be known as the Tertia Oculus. The Oculus have served as second in command behind the Rectio ever since then, advising the Rectio Emperor in the best direction possible. Magnus next gave Mentis the role of chief police. The police force is known as the Mentis Legatus, in honor of Mentis. Mentis and the Lenta Mentis bloodline has led the police force with pride throughout the generations, only allowing the strongest, pure hearted warriors to join them in protecting the nation from within. Ura began to work with Partum, and she was able to persuade the leaders of all the surrounding nations to sign a peace treaty, agreeing to support one another instead of fight. Ura and the Oratio bloodline have represented Acronious for foreign affairs ever since, and is known as the voice of Acronious. Aleena was appointed to work with Brutus, and she and her Gratus bloodline started the Gratus Militubus. The Gratus Militubus protected the Emperor, and took care of top secret missions that was to small scale and intricate for the Fortis Militum. Lastly, Magnus appointed Amora to create a system of hospitals, and to train people to be able to heal the wounded. It's the Amor bloodline that to this day leads the medical system, and keeps the nation at full health. These seven rebuilt the nation from the ground up, making Acronious the strongest nation known to man. As a reward, it's said that one of the three gods came upon them, and unlocked great powers from within them. These powers have since been passed down throughout the Septems respective bloodlines. The god Acronion, Whom the nation of Acronious was named for, personally gave the Salvatores Septem not only power, but also his approval. Since then the nation has continued to prosper. The gods Acronion, Klevion, and Karonia, broke up the three great lands named in their honor in hopes that it would decrease the chances of war breaking out in the future. Klevion watched over Klevainia, while Karonia watched over Karona. These three nations are known as the Tri-Amnis, and they have learned to live in harmony with each other. In our current day, the Salvatores Septem stand at the top of Salvatore Castle, engraved in silver. Behind them stands a golden statue of Acronion, who watches over the Acronian nation. Many evils have risen and fell at the hands of the Septem's descendants. But where there is good, evil will continue to lurk its ugly head. And when evil does appear, it may just be stronger than what you're prepared for.
