Three and Four huddled together in their nest. The egg right in between them.
Three's wing stretched over the Four and the egg.
Four was fast asleep, Three was wide awake.
Finally, it seemed like the scientist had begun to accept that Three and Four were mates.
What were they thinking putting all the males in one room together?
Not very smart of them.
Ever since Three joined he and Four had a connection together.
His feathers were softer than anything that Three has ever touched.
His eyes sparkled like deep space.
His laugh sounded like an angel.
How can you not fall in love with that?
Three kissed both Four and the egg.
"Goodnight, I love you."
