You and Rey were in awe as you looked at the ocean while on the boat, you and him were on vacation with a couple of your friends who had bought a nice boat to sail the world with. You fell asleep after having lunch and woke up to a loud noise above you which was the boat being rammed by a wave and hitting rocks, you immediately throw and inflate the raft and grab the bag full of supplies as everyone yells at the chaos before jumping off the boat and swimming to the raft, you hold on to rey after everyone is in the raft and the rest of the boat goes underwater looking at the supplies to see enough food for three days along with ten bottles of water, blankets, and a bottle of meds which made you worried and relieved at the same time as you lay your head on rey's shoulder as rain starts coming down for a second until it stopped, you and rey wrap up in one of the blankets. You felt so many things at once as you process seeing one friend die by sharks and the other having a seizure that was the final straw and you all ended up having to push her off the raft within the past eight hours as morning slowly comes, later on rey and Craig began to argue and the next thing you knew they both fell off the raft and you burst into tears when you couldn't hear or see him anywhere, what you and your three friends didn't know was that rey was still alive and swam for the next six hours until he got helped to shore by a man and his wife who was a doctor "Please you gotta find Y/N and help her" they are confused and ask him about you as he is taken to their home and treated for his wounds "She's the kindest person in the world, my universe, the biggest and emotional brown eyes, and...she's my wife" he couldn't imagine living life without you, the two of you got married a month earlier and it changed you life together in an amazing way that neither of you wanted to share that with anyone else but each other. You lose track of time and your heart stops when the raft is torn open and you jump in the water, you swim for hours until you find a buoy and pull yourself up as you watch the sun come up not knowing what you were going to do now that you were completely alone, you somehow fall asleep for a few hours while holding the buoy until you hear a boat which wakes you right up especially when you hear your friend Nattie yelling at you as she and a man help you on the boat, everything becomes a blur as you walk on shore and in the man's house until you see a familiar back tattoo which makes you cry as rey turns to see you and you both hold each other before everyone is checked out and spends the next three nights with the couple before heading home, slowly helping each other recover from what had happened.
