(y/n)'s pov

We continued like this for weeks... Training together, helping Rin with his moves helping Rin study and watching movies together. I never expected to get this close to Rin.. it never crossed my mind... Yet here we are acting like buddies...  But for some reason I can't be happy... The fact that I've become attached to Rin is a curse itself......

*Time skip*

We were practicing alone, just me and Rin. As we toggle Rin managed to sneak pass me and score.

"Haha nice shoot itoshi Kun" I said smiling. Rin just scoffed and said

"Whatever.... Though I don't appreciate that you're holding back on me...." He said wiping his sweat.

"Ehh? Was I?" I teased but suddenly I had headache. I was a painful one.

"God damnit now?" I muttered. Rin glanced at me and said.  "What's wrong..?"

"No nothing just need the bathroom!" I said putting up a smile and ran off.

'he absolutely can't see me like this!!' I thought.

Rin's pov

I stared at her as she ran off.

'What the hell? She always do this....' I thought. But I just brushed it off and continue playing...

*5 or more minutes later*

"What is she doing? It's been long..." I muttered annoyed.

'should I follow? No Rin! That's inappropriate!' I thought deciding whether I should check or not...

"God damnit fine!"

I grumbled as i walked to the bathrooms... I was being cautious so no one see me sneaking around near the bathroom.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)??" I whisper shouted. But instead of getting a reply.. i only heard gagging noises.. as if someone was vomiting. I glanced a bit further in the woman bathroom and saw (y/n) vomiting while having a nosebleed. My eyes widened in shock

(Y/N)'s pov

"(Y/N)!?" He yelled, which shocked me

"I itoshi Kun! W what- why are you here!? T this is the woman's bathroom!" I said startled and flustered.

"That's not the point!? What the hell is happening to you!? Why are you vomiting and having a nosebleed at the same time!? Are you ok?" He said with genuine concern as he come close to me.

"A ah I'm fine... I just finished vomiting I it's-" before I can finish Rin put a tissue on my nose .

"Your nose is still bleeding idiot!!" He yelled as he gently lifted my head and put a tissue over it helping me wipe it.

I didn't say anything anymore as he helped me... I was angry with myself for letting him see me like this. After my nosebleed stopped I cleaned up everything and washed my face. I got out of the bathroom to see Rin waiting for me.

"H hey itoshi Kun... C c'mon let's continue practicing!" I said smiling as I walked to the field but was stopped when he pulled me by my wrist..

"We're not doing anything until you explain... What the hell happened?" Rin said frowning.

I sighed and said "ok ok let's just go back to the field first... It's better there.." I said looking down. 'well I can't hide it forever I guess...' I thought.

As we arrived back at the field.. we both sit on the grass. I took a deep breath and said "so ever heard of brain leak or brain hemorrhage..." I said

"Uh yeah?" He said confused..

"Well yeah that's what I have... I had it when I was a kid.. Nii chan said I had an accident.. if I overworked myself.. I got nosebleeds and vomit..." I just explained casually.

Rin looked at me with wide eyes.
"H huh? That's it!?" He said

"Yes? What do you want more?" I said confused.

Rin looked even more confused and said
"I mean what kind of accident!? W why aren't you getting treatment!?"

"Eh.. well I am drinking pills and have check ups but according to the doctors there's nothing that can be done... It's been leaking slowly for years now.. the doctor said something about it being near a vital part of my brain so they are hesitant to do the surgery.... About how it happened..... I don't know! Nii chan said it's just an accident he didn't say anything else... I don't want to question him cuz it makes him sad..." I said looking down

Rin was shocked by the news... Everything went quite for a few moments and he continues

"So... The consequences are?"

I just put up a smile and said "I'll die when I turned 26...... That's my life expectancy but that's only if I continue to play football... If I stop all sports I'll live till my thirty's so- " I was cut off from shock when I looked at rin's face. He looked so much in pain...horrified anguished.

"Then why do you keep playing...." Rin said coldly...

"It's just that I want to do everything I can before I die... I don't want to regret anything.. and before I die.. I want to hold the world cup with my hands... I know it's not easy but... I still wishes to do my best..." I said smiling

Rin went quiet and looked away. I did too. I looked up at the sky... It's been a few moments and rin's still quiet.. I was getting a bit nervous but then

"Call me Rin..."

I looked at him surprised and said "eh?"

"You can call me Rin... You're the only person I give permission to so be grateful..." He said looking away..I could tell he was embarrassed..his ears were red..

I giggled and said

"Sure... Rin Kun..." I said smiling.

"Just because you told me your sob story I won't go easy on you... Don't expect anything from me got it? I'll surpass you one day and only I'll become the best.." He said glaring at me arrogantly

I laughed and smirked. "hmph do what you want I didn't tell you to get your sympathy.. I'll continue to do my best to become the best player.." I said

"Hmph whatever I'm going home..."he said as he stood up and brush the dust off. I did the same.

As we were walking back we came across a small shop.. Rin stopped and said"wait here.." as he went inside. After a few seconds he came back out with 2 popsicles.

"Here me and my brother always used to eat this..." He said offering me one.

"W what!? You're being so kind! Who are you!" I said shocked which angered rin.

"You should be greatful I'm even doing this!! Whatever! I'm eating it then!" He said annoyed and took it away. I panicked and snatch it back

"Hey! I still want it! Don't you know it's rude to take back something you gave!?" I yelled annoyed too.

"You should seriously shut up sometime!" He yelled as we walked back.

"You should also stop being a jerk all the time!" I yelled as I walked with him and unwrapping the popsicle.

We both went home bickering with each other....
