(Y/N)'s pov

I was standing at the backstage nervous and scared.. this was my first time ever performing on a stage... I wished Rin to be here but he was standing in the audience crowd, since I'd asked him to record me.. My anxiety grew as the group performing before me was about to finish. Then I heard..

"Psss!"

I looked at the direction of the noise and saw Rin behind a curtain, motioning me to come to him.. I looked around nervously and walked to him.

"What is it Rin?" I said. My voice shaking from nervousness.

"...nothing I just came to check if you're ready... But instead You look like a wet dog.." he said bluntly with a serious face..

"What the hell is that supposed to mean! You're not helping here!" I whined as all the little confidence I had left my body... But suddenly a piece of mint candy was slipped into my mouth. I looked at Rin surprised.

"You're nervous aren't you? Of course you are.. if you mess up now you'll be shamed for life..." Rin said bluntly looking down. I whimpered at his words again..

"When I was young. I was super nervous for my first soccer game.. it was the first game I would play alongside my brother. Looking back I think I was more scared about disappointing my brother then losing... But I managed to get through my nervousness by eating some ginger from lunch... It sorta distracted me.. so I thought it'll help..." Rin said holding up the candy bag.

I was really surprised and a bit touched by his consideration... A side of Rin I rarely see.... I smiled and let out a laugh.

"Heh stop it.... It's like I'm talking to a completely different person.." I said smiling as I chew the candy..

Rin let out an annoyed tsk and said

"What!? You want me to punch you then?" He said mockingly..

I lightly punch his chest and said

"Haha just watch me! I'll make sure everyone's eyes are on me! You just stand there and record it! Don't admire me too much ok rinrin~!" I said smiling as I walked back to get ready...

Rin let out a huff and left.. I smiled determined. The minty taste of the candy still linger in my mouth.. my nervousness was gone. I took a deep breath as the group before me finished and the host announced my name.

I ran out there smiling and waving at the crowd. I took a deep breath as the song I was supposed to sing started.

[3rd person's POV]

At first, the crowd was silent and listening, which worried rin for a bit. but a few seconds the crowd started to wave lights sticks and sing along. The audience was swoon by [Y/N]'s voice and so was rin... Rin never knew she could sing like that... as he held up the camera she had given him to record. his heart couldn't help but beat to the rythm of her song... He was surprised with himself... The excitement he goy now was the same excitement he got when he was playing with his brother... A small fire ignite in his heart... For the first time in his life he found something other than soccer exciting.

(Y/N) was shining star on the stage as if she had a natural talent at drawing people in. Many people immediately fall for her charms and the her first ever concert was undoubtedly a success.

(Y/N)'s pov

I walked back into the backstage breathless and happy. As soon as I saw Rin I immediately ran to him and hugged him tightly laughing.

"Haha! See that!? Everyone was looking at me! Cheering for me! I did it! I did it!" I said laughing.

[Rin's Pov]

I was shocked when she suddenly ran up and hugged me. I stayed still for a few moments and then hugged her back lightly. Petting her back and said

"Hmph getting so excited over a thing like this you really are lukewarm.. and stop moving around so much that dress was expensive right?" I said with a smile but I immediately hid it so she wouldn't notice and returned to my stoic expression.

(Y/N)'s pov

I let out a groaned and pulled away.

"Ugh! You're such a buzz kill no wonder you don't have friends..." I said annoyed

"I HAVE PEOPLE I TALK TO!? and like I said anything other than soccer is lukewarm." Rin said as he brushes off his clothes. Irritating me more.

"Huh? The hell you just do!? Did you just brushed off dust? Are you insinuating that I'm filthy?" I said fully irritated.

"Maybe you were singing and dancing on the stage.. you probably smell like a pig." He mocked

I gasped and yelled "How dare you talk to a lady like this!?! Take it back asshole!"

"Make me.. mob"

We bicker until we were kicked out by the manager and the agency's schedule was every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night at 8 pm.

[At night]

I laid down comfortably on the bed. I took out my phone and decided to sent the video to nii-chan.

I clear my throat and said recorded a voicemail.

"Hello Nii-chan.. As I said before tonight was my first day at the concert. It went fantastic and everyone loved my performance.. my friend Rin the one I talked about helped me flim the video. He's really good at tech! And uh things are going well on my end.. I hope the same for you.. you must be busy and tired with practice and stuff... I bet you're practicing now... I mean.. now it's day at Germany right... Thank you for everything Nii-chan.. I love you.. good luck and bye."

I said as I ended the voicemail. I let out a content sigh and went to sleep.
