«There is no forward in this country worthy of receiving one of my passes. I was simply born in the wrong country.» Sae said when he approached the door with a hand on the doorknob. It was his final statement towards this futile interview. Him joining Japan's Pro Team? Never. Japan's football was far too behind to ever stand a chance of winning the World Cup the way it is now. And knowing those money grubbers of higher ups and the Japan's football society, Sae had no such hope that things would suddenly change.
«Oh. Thank you for your time.» The interviewer replied.
«You too. My manager can handle the rest.» Sae replied and opened the door.
Outside his manager, Girolain Davidi, was waiting for him with a nervous look.
«Itoshi-chan! You went and did it again...! The media will hate you at this rate...!» Sae heard his manager nagged at him and turned to look around.
«I couldn't care less about this country. I'm only ever here to renew my passport, anyway.» Sae replied without giving him much attention. Sae had something more urgent in his mind as his eyes wandered around the spacy corridor.
‚Where's Yui?' Sae thought, when he could not see the girl with him. After two weeks of staying here in Japan, today was the day Sae could finally return back to Spain after renewing his passport. Naturally, Yui accompanied him. She didn't want to part from him just yet. Sae didn't mind. In truth, he liked it as her presence was ever so calming and comforting.
Sae spotted Yui standing outside of an open door. She seemed to be engrossed into it by the way her eyes were sparkling with a curious glow in them. Sae widened his eyes and wondered what could possible catch her attention. He closed in onto the girl quietly and stopped next to her. Sae gazed down at her with a fond expression on his face. He was slightly amused that she hadn't noticed him yet.
«...Isn't this hotel pretty crowded?» Sae asked once he saw what Yui saw.
Yui only now noticed his presence. She took a step backwards at their sudden close proximity. Sae noticed, and easily stopped her by putting a hand on her back. Yui blushed. She couldn't bear to look at his pretty face and instead looked down at his chest with a small pout. 'Don't you know what you're doing with my heart, Sae?'
Sae retracted his hand thinking that Yui was pretty cute to look at right now. He however soon turned his attention back to what was happening inside, not wanting to be caught by her.
«Oh... Looks like they're having a press conference at the event hall...» Girolain, who had tried to figure out the situation inside the room, answered towards Sae's comment. He wasn't paying attention to Sae and Yui too focused with managing the schedules to pay too much attention to his surroundings.
«It seems like this is about a project called Blue Lock.» Yui said quietly and checked her phone. She was quickly scrolling through some basic information about the project.
