Soon after Anri and Yui finished their talks, Sae too stepped out. He gave a simple nod to Anri. «You can untie him now. We're leaving.»
«Leavin- where?» Anri asked surprised. «Did Ego-san say something?»
«Who knows. I've got permission to come here, and he's the one I've chosen.» Sae replied back in a cold, uncaring voice, before he turned towards the exit.
Yui watched him pass her by and she gave Anri an apologetic glance and a polite bow. «See you later, Anri-chan!»
Yui soon fell into steps next to Sae. He seemed to be his usual stoic self.
«Say Sae. Are you going for the courts right away?» Yui asked the teen whose habits she knew very well. Sae was either practicing football, training in the gym or having schedules/interviews throughout the day. Of course, football fanatic Sae was considering playing with his chosen striker first and foremost.
Sae glanced at Yui who flashed him a smile. He couldn't tell why she was asking him.
«... Where else would I be going, why?» Sae responded as he checked the time on his phone. Seeing how his manager hadn't contacted him, he was certain to still have some time left.
«I think... another idea might be better.» Yui suddenly said. Her statement caused the red-head to look at her with mild confusion. «What do you mean?»
«Well, I mean that it would be weird to immediately challenge him upon first meet, right? Why don't we invite him for some, hm... dessert first.» Yui suggested with obviously delight in her voice.
Sae stared, and blinked. Since when did «I» become «We» Sae wondered, but he didn't hate it, so he chose to ignore it. He frowned at the thought of socializing and stepping out into the public. Not to mention, it was with a guy around their age as well. He wouldn't have minded if it was perhaps a beautiful woman or someone else with more charm, and charisma...- Sae looked at Yui.
«Don't tell me... aren't you just trying to spend more time with me, Yui~.» Sae teased the girl with a playful question. There was a hint of seriosity laced underneath.
Yui flashed him a small, tiny bit of helpless smile. She absentmindedly brushed a part of her hair behind her ear. Their friendship bracelets dangled in the light as she did so. Their beautiful bracelet, that Sae still wore even after years. He felt nostalgic seeing it, but didn't dwell on it for long.
«If you have time then,... I'd love to take you out on a date some day...» Yui said with a slightly shy, but honest smile. Their eyes met for about a second, before her embarassment kicked in and her confidence started to waver. «But you are fairly busy most of the time...» Yui ended with slight disappointment and turned around to avoid his gaze.
Sae refused to let her turn away from him and grabbed onto her arm. He pulled her back to him with one swift pull. Yui's soft smell of jasmin and vanilla was right beneath his nose. He really liked the flowery, and yet calming scent of her shampoo.
«Blaming me now, only because you're shy? That's now how we play it here.» Sae replied back as he lowered his head to the crown of her head. Only a centimeter was separating his chin from touching it.
«Isn't there something you want to tell me?» Sae asked. In his mind he remembered That night... The night where Yui stole a kiss from him. He still hadn't stole it back. She still owed him that. Sae suddenly remembered and he leaned back. His gaze lowered from her mesmerizing, enchanting eyes to her soft, and shiny lips. Sae gulped once when he felt the temptation boil inside of him. He lightly loosened his grip on her arm and gave them both a bit of space to move. Sae looked at her with a questioned look in his eyes.
