Chapter Twenty-Two; Beside You―Let me Love You

Hello my loves!!

This chapter is literally filled with everything from happy, to surprised, to broken, dramatic and maybe even rated-r :O

Everyone in this story has come a long way since the first chapter of the first story. Just know that despite being in the same serries, each story is different. You can't always compare the writing and expect it to all be the same. As the books go on, so does the relationships and everyone matures. This is why I decided to have Chasing Ever after Rated-R. I'm not sure what is to come with it, but I know what is to come for the last few chapters of Chasing Harry and I have a feeling, my rating need to go slightly higher.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this.

I got inspired by two songs for this chapter;
1, Beside You by Marianas Trench, which I adore.

And

2, Let Me Love You, originally by NeYo but I decided to have the Glee version as it is softer and slower, which is the video on the side.

The GIf on the side, is not mine. It was found on TUMBLR, I'm sure you guys know what to expect out of those two loving mates in the story ;D

Chapter Twenty-Two; Beside You―Let me Love You

“Happy Birthday!” Danielle and I almost shouted as Louis’s webcam had finally turned on after accepting our video chat request on Skype.

            Louis smiled, “Aw, thanks guys!”

            “How does it feel to be much, much older now?” I asked, giving him a small wink.

            Louis groaned, he hated the fact that he was older than all of us. If he had to chose between getting older or getting younger, he would so go for the youth.

            “Don’t remind me guys,” He said with a chuckle in his tone.

            “Think about it this way Lou,” Danielle started, “You’re legal in every state now and well, you’re still not as old as me.”

            A smile appeared on his face, he shrugged. “I guess that’s true. Gotta line up them drinks!”

            I frowned and pointed at him, “No.” I said my tone rougher than I expected. “Louis the last time you drank you were upset and you did some really bad things. I don’t want you to fall back into that path. Harry is here, we all are and you are so much happier.”

            He rolled his eyes but a smile appeared on his mouth once more.

            “The only thing is Harry isn’t here.” He said, with a little sigh. “There’s a snowstorm going on in Cheshire so, his mother doesn’t want him driving as she is terrified he will get into an accident. I don’t blame her though; I wouldn’t want to get a phone call telling me he’s in the hospital, again.”

            I felt my chest tighten to Louis as I looked over at Danielle he gave him a small pout.

            “I’m sorry, Lou.” She said, “I’m sure he wouldn’t miss Christmas with you though.”

            Louis shrugged lightly, “I really hope not. I hate being on my own.”

            “I know, Lou.” I answered giving him a small shrug. “Just don’t think about it, if you want, Danielle and I can stay on camera with you all day.”
