Chapter Six; Take A Breath

So I wrote no plot to this Chapter.

Which... you guys will hate me.

When I write a line up to my chapter... it keeps me from writing plot twists and  drama.

Though... what's a story without those, right?

Ahaha.

If you guys hate me, I will understand.

Chapter Six; Take A Breath

Two Days Later ~ Los Angeles

Niall

“Hello crumbling, hello stumbling,

How, did we fall down so far?

These mistakes, each heartache,

How, did we all crash so hard?

Hello wet tears, hello worst fears,

Let’s, count the bruises on our hearts,

Goodbye memories, goodbye you and me,

Let’s, try to find the restart, oh,” I sang, letting the last note stretch into the melody that completed the second verse of Louis’s version of Chasing the Moments. I slide, the Dr. Dre Beats headphones from my head before hanging them on the microphone standing out of the soundproof both and into the next room where Zayn, Liam and our producer Steve sat around the table of buttons as they did a replay on my voice.

            I nodded at the sound, looking over at my band mates who shared the same nod which indicated it wasn’t bad. My eyes took hold of Steve who gave me a smile and then high fived me.

            “Alright, now we just need to mash it up together and hopefully get Louis in here soon so that the four of you can record the backing vocals of the chorus together on the same mic.” He said, turning to the buttons and pressing on a few of them, restarting the instrumentals to the song that had finished recording earlier this week.

            We let out a breath and nodded.

            Steven nodded and gave us all a smile. “Alright, so you guys know how to do this. I don’t need to help you guys, it’s your album and you were told to do whatever with it. Just as usual―”

            “We know, man. Be careful.” Liam finished with a laugh as he place a hand on his shoulder, shaking him lightly.

            Steve let out a laugh before placing his white beanie properly over his short blonde hair. He nodded, picking up his car keys, his wallet and his pack of cigarettes before giving us all a one armed hug before giving us a little more information on how to fix the sounds. We knew we didn’t have much to do in here and we knew how to record other vocals for the other songs we had to get done today―of course, excluding Harry’s verses.
