Zander just wanted his best friend back.
He wanted him for himself. He knows it sounds selfish but he can't help but feel that way even though Kai hates his guts.
If Zander even told Kai that he liked him Kai would flip out then go ham on him until he doesn't like him.
Kai hates Zander and that's just how their friendship went.
Zander doesn't even hate Kai. Not one bit, actually he still thinks of him as he as his best friend and that will never ever change.
Even if Kai says so it won't change.
"Hey Zander!" He heard Kai yell as he ran after him, he was alone, weird.
"Are you here to bully me?" Zander asked.
Kai chuckled then shook he head 'no' "why I thought you found it fun to beat me to the ground" Zander said. "It is but I just want to tell you something" he said. "What?" Zander asked. "Well I need someone to come to my family dinner because everyone in my family believes we're still friends and btw I'm sorry about the uhh mom thing I didn't know it was real..." Kai said. "I-ugh I'll go because my dad thinks we're still friends anyway so why not?" I said as more of a question then a answer. "Ok great it's at 8:30 today at my house so see ya" He said as he ran off.
'Great i just agreed to go to dinner with my bully's family because they think we're still friends' Zander thought as he walked out of the school.
Kai's pov: God i love how Zander looks. He's so cute. I only bully him because my friends are making me because they hate him for something he did to them in 7th grade. But who would hurt someone that cute. I being made to hit and kick him and then laugh about it, god I'm pathetic and can't even stand up for my best friend.
I invited him to dinner with my family. Because i need to tell him i don't hate him. He needs to know he really does. He's been there for me since day 1. I mean we became friends at birth. Our parents were best friends and his dad is coming to the family dinner to.
I love him to much for him to do something to himself because of me.
———— Zander was walking to Kai's house. He had a plain white shirt with black rip jeans, his favorite pair of doc martens and some jewelry like a few rings and necklaces.
Zander knocked on the door and his mom opened it.
"Omg Zander! It's so nice to see you again!! How are you?!" His mom said as he hugged him tightly. "I'm good ma'am it's nice to see you to. How are you?" He asked. "Oh I'm just fine" she said as she brought him in.
Kai's little sister, nova ran to Zander and hugged him tightly. Nova is 12 he was 4 when they met. She was like a little sister to him. (She will be ;))
"Heyy Nova" Zander Said as he hugged her back. "Hiii" she said as she let him go.
She walked back to the kitchen where her mom and dad are.
Kai walked into the room.
"Uhh hey Zan" Kai said. "Oh umm hey" Zander said, confused to why Kai used his nickname.
