Ok sure Zander liked his bully/best friend but that doesn't mean he's weird. Sure he's liked him for a while he just never had the guts to tell him that.

Because he knew what would come with it.

And now he was sitting on the couch with his dad who had a very very sad expression on his face and it's weird because he's never seen that on his face before.

"Dad..? What's wrong did something happen?" He asked. "No..no nothings happened I just need to tell you something important.." his dad replied. "Ok..well what is it..?" He asked again. "I've joined the army" his dad rushed out. It took Zander a couple seconds to realize what his dad just said, then it hit him. His dad's joining the army. "WHAT?!" He yelled. "I'm so sorry son but it was for the best" his dad said. "No it's wasn't for the best. Now I'm all alone with none to help me cope with my feelings?!" Zander yelled again.

"Son I know but I leave in two days.." his dad said. "WHAT!? 2 FUCKING DAYS?!" He yelled again as he stood up. "Language!" His dad said. "NO BECAUSE YOUR FUCKING LEAVING JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HAS!" Zander yelled as he stormed out of the house to god knows where.

Zander's pov:
God how could he not tell me this sooner.

Why is he leaving? Did I do something? And I a bad son?

I decided to walk to Kai's house because he's the only one I need to talk to right now..

I got to Kai a house and knocked frantically.

"Zan what are you doing here what's wrong?" Kai's mom asked. "Can I speak to Kai please it urgent" I said. "Yes he's upstairs go ahead" she said.

I quickly ran upstairs and knocked on his door. "Come in!" He yelled from inside. I walked in and sat down. "Zander what the actual fuck are you doing here?" He asked. "I needed someone to talk to.." I replied. "Well what is it?" He asked. "My dad's joining the army and now I'm left alone.." I said. "Oh..I'm sorry" he said as he came and sat down next to me. "No it's ok I guess everyone I love leaves for no good fucking reason at all!" I said. "That's not true.." he replied. "You left! You bullied me! My moms left! My dads now leaving! Who do I have left?! Huh who? No one that's who" I said. "You love me..?" He asked. "Of course I do! You were my best friend and now I don't even know what you are to me!" I said.

"Zander-" he tried but was cut off. "No because everyone has a reason to leave me, am I to annoying? am I to protective? what is it?! What do I have to fix?! Someone tell me!" I said with a bit of anger in my voice. "Your none of those so stop saying that! Listen everyone comes and goes that's how life works!" Kai said. "Well best friends don't leave now do they? They don't backstab you, then end up bullying you the rest of your god dang life now do they?! No they don't" I said. I was beginning to think I was making this a big deal but it was a big big deal!

"Zander it's not that deep" kai said. "Not that deep? Not that fucking deep!? Are you stupid or something because this is a big fucking deal to me and may not be to you because it's not your dad but it hurts because I think he's gonna die like my mom and now I'm terrified! Oh god what if he does die what am I gonna do then.." I asked myself. "..Zander" my dad said as he walked in.

"I don't wanna talk to you right now so leave me alone!" I yelled at him without meaning to. "Zander come on please.." Kai said. "No!" I said. "Your so fucking stubborn" Kai said as he scrubbed his hands down his face. "At least your dad doesn't leave to die, your dad goes on business trips and is a loyal man but now I don't know about mine.." I said with a hint of sadness and anger in my voice. "Come home Zander" my dad said. "No leave me the fuck alone! Just leave me the fuck alone!" I said. "No and stop cursing at me young man!" My dad said. "No not until you leave me the hell alone!" I said. "This isn't cool whatever is wrong with you Zander" my dad said. "Not cool? Not cool?! I know it's not cool your making me yell at you!"I said getting more and more frustrated by the minute.

I decided to leave because if I didn't I know I would do and say something I would regret for life.

I went to my favorite place.
