Sure Zander was a quiet boy but once you get to know him he gets loud and he starts talking about something he loves he talks really fast but that just means he's comfortable with you.

It takes a few months or weeks for him to decide weather or not your safe to be around but with Kai it took him 2 days! 2! And nones ever seen him warm up so fast to someone they were shocked, especially his parents.

Zander was looking through his memory book that he found hidden under his bed.

As he was looking through it he saw a picture of him and Kai hugging in front of what looked like an abandoned train track.

He was guessing one of their old friends took it of them.

He thought he had lost the book but he guesses not it was just under his bed.

He missed that time.

He was so happy that day. He remembers it was Kai's birthday that day and he also remembers when Kai kept hugging him through out the day.

Tears sprung in Zander's eyes as the memories of everything came back to him.

Then he was full on sobbing.

His dad wasn't home so he didn't have to be quiet.

He laid in his bed and cried himself to sleep.

Kai's pov:
I was sitting in the grass in the backyard looking at the sunset.

Zander's dad was over. Zander wasn't with him which was weird because every time they would come over Zander would come with him.

God what if something's happen to him? I thought to myself but I didn't care, right?

Maybe I did but not a lot.

"Kai come here quickly please!" My mom yelled out for me.

I got up and walked inside to see Keith and Lexi.

"Umm hi? What are you guys doing here?" I asked, confused to why my and Zander's old friends are here. "Zander. Do you know what's happened to him I mean we can't call or text him anymore he won't answer any of our calls and it's starting to worry us, umm has he talked to you at all?" Lexi said. "Um he hasn't actually, not since like last week or something" I said.

"I know what happened to him..." my sister, nova said as she walked in the room. "Nova..? What's happened to Zander is he ok what's wrong?" Lexi asked quickly as she walked up to my sister. "W-well he told me not to tell you guys but he's been having some mental health issues and their really bad but I told him to tell you guys but he made me promise and I don't break promises..." Nova said as she looked away.

"Holy shit..." Keith said as he covered his mouth with his hand. "Where is he now?!" Lexi said. "Idk.." Nova said.

"Ok well what now..? I mean he hates me so I can't talk to him so it's gotta be one of you guys?" I said. "No! You go get your ass over there and you talk him out of this state you hear me?!" My sister said as she walked up to me and pulled me by my shirt. God she's scary.

"I-fine.." I said as I walked out and down to Zander's house.

As soon as I got there I walked In because the door was unlocked.

I walked to his room and it was silent.

I knocked on the door then opened it.

I found a sleeping Zander with tear stained cheeks and his eyes looked red.

I started shaking him awake.

"Huh?" He asked as he woke up from his great sleep. "Hey I was told to come check on you even though I didn't want to but are you ok?" I asked a little annoyed. "Oh...yeah I'm fine now can you leave" he replied. "Umm yeah whatever bye" I said and walked straight out.

I got back to my house and saw then waiting outside for me. Great.

"He's fine he was just asleep" I said. "Phew, glad he's ok" Lexi said as she let out a relieved breath.

"Yup" I said as I walked inside and into the backyard and into my spot.

I can't lie I was worried about him but I don't care that much to take care of him because he's basically useless at this point.

Zander's pov:
After Kai left I didn't go back to sleep in fact I actually got up and went to the kitchen.

I decided to make myself something small like a sandwich or something.

I made that and of course I got sick just by looking at it but I ate it anyway.

I knew my dad was getting suspicious but at this point I don't care.

Who knew that someone you love so much actually hates you? I've destroyed my mental health for him and only him and none else.

He should know that.

But I can't tell him at all.

But why did he come check on me? He said he was forced to? So who forced him to come here?

I guess I'll never find out.

Nova pov:
I was beginning to think that something else is up with Zander because he wears to many sweaters and it's really hot out today and he wears sweatpants.

That's not normal for him and I would know that.

I should talk to Kai about what happened.

I decided to talk to him so I walk outside and see that's he's laying in the grass, looking at the sky.

I walk up to him and sit beside him.

"Kai tell me what actually happened" I said in a almost demanding tone. "I got to his house and he was asleep in his room he had looked like he had been crying for hours and his eyes were bloodshot red from probably crying and the tear stained cheeks says it all and I asked if he was ok and he yes I'm now can you leave so I can go back to sleep so I left and now I'm here" he explained.

"Wow that's a lot, wait so you think he was crying? But why?" I said, confused but in a understanding way. "I don't know" was all he said as he went quiet.

'Huh weird. Maybe his dad might know' I thought to myself as I walked black inside to where his dad was, weird that he's over all the time now.

"He uhh can I talk to you?" I asked as I walked up to them. "Yeah what's up kiddo?" My mom asked. "Well since your Zander's dad do you know why he sleeps and wears hoodies and sweatpants all the time?" I asked. "No I don't sorry but why is he ok?" His dad asked. "Yeah no he's fine I was just asking" I said as I walked away.

'Wow I really need to figure out if he's ok'

Anyway another chapter doneee I'm so proud of myself for that😭
