A teenager dying to be loved gets bet on by his crush.

Was he ready? Was he actually ready to tell him? No he wasn't but this needs to be done.

It's been a month and his friend keeps nagging his about it and it's killing him. Maybe he should take him on a date first. He had no idea how he was gonna do this at all and it was killing him to not know what to do.

"Hi love!" Zander said as he walked up to Kai and hugged him. "H-hi!" He replied as he hugged him back.

"So I have a question.." Kai said. "Ok what is it?" Zander said. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me..?" Asked Kai. "Of course! What time?" Zander asked. "Around 7?" Kai said. "Ok cool!" "Meet me at the restaurant on 5th Street" Kai said. "Ok! Got it" Zander said as he walked off.

Then his bat friends walked over and one of them started talking. "I really hope your not gonna go and your just gonna ditch him"  "no I'm actually gonna go then I'm gonna break up with him" Kai said. "Uh huh.." one of them said.

After the long ass conversation Kai finally left his group.

He decided to skip school because he wasn't feeling that great.

So he decided to just leave.

He knew he would feel so guilty and hurt about doing this to the sweetest boy ever but he needed to even though he's fallen for him. He knows this could cause him to possibly spiral again like he did when they were 14-15 years old.

He knew it was a horrible idea but he needed his friends. Yes he's known Zander longer then the friends he has now but he dating Zander so that doesn't really count as a friend, ya know? Probably not but yeah.

He needs to know, he deserves to know that's he's been lying to him.

Zander's pov:
I knew what was gonna happen because no one in life loves me. Literally I mean my dad left for the army and Kai is probably dating me because of a bet he and his friends made.

I mean it all makes sense. They always eye me when they start laughing. And it kinda makes me feel bad about myself...

I mean look at me, I'm ugly, unlovable, and weird. Oh and did I mention clingy as hell.

I try not to be but I can't help it at all.

I know what I'm saying makes no sense but to be honest i don't know what I'm saying either.

Anyway I hope this date goes the way I hope it does and it doesn't end with me crying at the end of the night...
