Cedric kept on staring at Ivan the whole time during dinner but Ivan didn't spare a glance , he then let's out a long sigh " Cedric you should eat something..rather than staring..." Ivan whispered softly but he didn't look at Cedric. " Please Ivan you not talking to me...is suffering " Cedric mumbled , Ivan glanced at him and ruffled his hair " I hate it when the people I love argue..it's annoying " " I can't promise you we won't fight..but I'll try and get along with them for you of course ".
Ivan smiled softly " you know how to win my heart don't you.." Cedric grinned and nodded.
They went back to their normal selves talking like usual but in the corner of Ivan's eyes he could see Ron and Hermione rushed out the Great hall , Ivan tugged on Cedric's robe " I'm finished already I'm gonna go and catch up with Ron and Hermione.." Cedric nodded not thinking much as he was happy that Ivan was talking to him again. Ivan steadily walked out the hall and as soon as he stepped out he heard a faint whisper , ' and here I thought the whispers had disappeared already..' he grumbled lowly. Ivan decided to follow the faint voice he couldn't register what the whisper was saying but along the lines he could hear ' kill..' he hurried his steps as he heard others footsteps.
Ivan gasped at the sight he saw there stood the golden trio and Filch's cat petrified. On the wall there was a bloody writing ' The chamber of Secret has been opened enemies of the heir beware.. ' the halls around them was now filled with students who just finished up with dinner they saw the writing and whispered amongst themselves. Someone then grasped Ivan' shoulder it was Filch , " move aside Vervain.. " he said roughly before rushing towards Harry accusing him with sorts of things Ivan was about to step in but Dumbledor and Professor Minerva stopped him before he could interfere. Cedric rushed to where Ivan was and saw what happened he then took Ivan's hand into his " Ivan let's go..It's probably the best if you don't look at this.." he tugged on Ivan's hand and walked away from the corridor leading him back to the dormitory.
Cedric led him back to their room and sat him on his bed " Ivan are you okay? did you hear the whispers again? " Ivan nodded slowly his head was a mess.
What did it mean the chamber of secret has been opened , his mind was all over the place seeing Filch's cat hanging there petrified scared him he felt sorry for the man since the cat was pretty much his everything but he felt bad when Harry was getting blamed for it all. Students around them were whispering they probably thought it was Harry but Ivan knew it had nothing to do with the boy, was Harry hearing the voices as well or was it him going mad.
Cedric saw how Ivan's eyes was darting all over the room he gripped Ivan's face making Ivan look at him " Ivan pay attention to me nothing else." Ivan listened to him. His eyes now focused on Cedric's , Cedric then slowly pull off his robe and Ivan's.
Ivan didn't stop Cedric he tried to keep his focus on Cedric face and not look away.
" Let me sleep with you..I'll make sure you'll feel safe..I promise.." Cedric whispered lowly , Ivan felt relaxed and let's Cedric guide him to lay down on his bed. Cedric slowly wrapped his arm around Ivan's waist securing him and placed kisses on his face " you're safe with me forget about the whispers and focus on my voice Ivan " Ivan could still hear the whispers but Cedric's voice soon drowned it out putting Ivan at ease and slowly let's his eyes rest.

Alistair stood beside Orion as they see Cedric pull Ivan away " ok if Ivan is talking to Diggory again surely he would talk to me to " he pouted , Orion rolled his eyes " so you're telling me Ivan talking to Cedric is more of a crisis than this happening right now? " Alistair nodded and walked away. Orion looked at his figure and sighed " how petty can this guy be..I guess he has a point if Cedric can get Ivan to talk to him he'll definitely talk to me.." Orion whispered to himself before looking at the golden trio with sympathy and walked away as they were ushered out of the corridors.
back to Ivan and Cedric
Ivan was now asleep while as Cedric was still awake , he could hear students walking around just getting. He did not once pull his hands away even if they were starting to feel numb. He then stifled a laugh " I bet they saw how Ivan let's me hold his hand.." Cedric smirked and whispered to himself but panicked when he saw Ivan stirred a bit. " I'm here Ivan..I'm here.." Ivan smiled softly as he heard the faint voice of Cedric and pressed his head against Cedric's shoulder and went back to sleep.
Cedric kept on running his fingers through Ivan's soft hair missing how close they are , his other arm tightened his grip on Ivan's waist pulling him closer and making sure Ivan doesn't feel cold.
