Fast forward to the day after the OWLS exam.
Ivan and Cedric did well in the exam , Ivan was happy that he didn't have to worry about it anymore.
It was the last day of school before the summer breaks all of the students are gathered in the Great hall for the House Cups Winners. Dumbledor was giving his speech before announcing the house points Gryffindor had 312 , Hufflepuff 352 , Ravenclaw 426 and Slytherin in first place with 472 , the Slytherin's were cheering loud for their win but Dumbledor cuts them of with the last minute house points to Gryffindor for Harry's courage , Ron's best played game of chess , Hermione's intellect and Nevil's bravery.
" And last but not least additional points for Mr.Ivan Vervain who showed kindness to the people around him , his bravery in protecting the young students from danger his courage should be admired and him being a top student in every class he takes..150 point to Ivan Vervain! " the end results were Gryffindor winning with 682 point but those additional points for Ivan bought Hufflepuff from 352 to 502 point leaving them in second. Both houses cheered on for their victory , Cedric hugged Ivan tightly and cheered for him. Ivan looked over to the Gryffindor table and his eyes met with Harry's , he smiled brightly and mouthed ' congrats ' and Harry nodded while smiling. After dinner some students were already busy packing while some students are just hanging out in the common room , Ivan already packed earlier and now he's just laying down staring at the ceiling of his and Cedric's room.
Cedric then barged into the room , " Ivan I've been thinking about this all day.." Cedric paused waiting for Ivan to say something. Ivan sat up " well I'm all ears " he smiled , " What if i said that we won't be going to the quidditch training camp instead we can just stay at my house? " Ivan looked at him puzzled " What about your dad he seemed excited about this? " " he wouldn't mind we've been exchanging letters past these days " Cedric has that excited glint in his eyes.
" as long as your dad is fine with this then I am too " Ivan smiled.
Cedric kissed Ivan on the cheek and walked away so he could pack his things while Ivan just stood there frozen before cupping his cheeks. ' I really need to get a hold on myself ' Ivan closed his eyes and breathed in calming himself.
* flash back *
The whispers he heard before died down but he can still hear it linger around the walls whenever he follows it it only led him to a dead end as he ignores the whisper the more faint it became. Other than that the loud chattering of his friends helps him ignore the voices and put all his focus on them especially on Cedric.
Cedric sometimes caught Ivan staring at him it was adorable how Ivan would look away as if he was busy looking at something else. He would pull Ivan away from their friends and have him pinned to the wall his breath fanning Ivan's neck making him shiver " mind telling me why you were staring at me..? " Cedric smirked " I wasn't...staring " Ivan hesitated making Cedric's smirked widened , he hooked his finger under Ivan's chin and made him look at Cedric. He looked around to see if anyone was still around and when he saw no one he leaned in and kissed Ivan , he bites Ivan's lip making him yelp and quiver. Ivan looked up to Cedric with beady eyes as Cedric deepened their kiss making Ivan moan lowly.
" s..someone could walk in on us.." Ivan looked around worried but Cedric continued to kiss him on his necks and chuckled " if you're that scared I guess we can finish this up in our room " Cedric kissed Ivan again before holding his hand and walked together to their dorm.
* flash back ended *
Ivan opened his eyes again as he breathes out the heavy feeling in his chest now gone. Ivan walked over to Cedric " I don't have anything to do now..I can help you with packing if you want" Cedric smiled and kissed his cheek " thank you for the offer love but I got this but if you still insist on helping I won't stop you " Ivan smiled and starts helping Cedric with packing his things. Usually it was Cedric who would be talking and Ivan would stay silent and listen but right now it was Ivan talking about his day telling Cedric the smallest details that has happened to him. some of them were silly stories but it made both of them laugh out loud.
They soon ended up falling asleep.
They both somehow woke up early Ivan was still tired while Cedric was full of energy. Students were seen hugging their friends and all , Ivan was walking around to find a certain someone.
Alistair
Ivan spotted him walking away from his friends and walked over to Alistair with a smile , Alistair noticed Ivan walking towards him and smiled " well hello there Ivan " he placed a kiss on Ivan's hand " I wanted to say goodbye and I'll definitely write to you " Alistair chuckled " I'll be looking forward to those letters also have fun this break you've been through quite a lot this year I reckon...this is my sign to go don't want your lover to be mad at me " Alistair walked away and Ivan turned to see Cedric rest his arm around his shoulder. Cedric muttered something under his breath but Ivan just ignored it " Ced have you seen Orion i couldn't find him " he pouted " He's just hanging around his other friends and don't worry i told him that you'll write to him " Ivan sighed in relief.
The train let out a loud sound signaling that they can get on now. Cedric and Ivan picked out an empty cabin just for them to seat together , Ivan looked out to see the view of the castle as the train starts moving.
" This year has been quite hectic.." Ivan mumbled and looked back to Cedric and smiled.
