After spending sometime with the Slytherin guy Ivan learnt that his name was Alistair Everard , they head to the library together and Ivan would talk about creature's his classes and Alistair would just stare at him and listen , " I probably talked to much.." Alistair shrugged " I don't mind hearing you talk besides you're stories are quite fun to listen to " Ivan's eye shined and muttered a small thank you.

Across their table was Cedric and Orion just staring at Ivan and Alistair , " you see what i mean..that guy saw the chance and took it " Cedric sighed here he still doesn't know why Ivan won't talk to him and now he's seeing him smiling at a guy he doesn't even know. He looked away " so are you gonna help me or not " Cedric looked at Orion dead in the eye. Ivan was busy talking to Alistair when Harry called out for him " Ivan..if you aren't busy can i talk to you " Ivan nodded as he looked at Alistair " don't worry I also need to get going we'll hang out later ok? " he kissed Ivan's hand before leaving , Ivan stared at Alistair's figure leaving before turning to Harry he patted the chair beside him " why don't you sit down " he smiled softly. Harry awkwardly sat down beside Ivan and starts telling him about the 3 headed dog named fluffy and it's guarding a stone called the Philosopher stone and how he thinks that tonight Professor Snape is going to steal the stone.

Ivan blinked " look I understand what you're trying to tell me but why me what do I have to do with this " Harry cleared his throat " we need your help..since you know the most about spells " Ivan sighed and scratched the back of his head , "...since I really don't want to see you three injured or dead i guess i could help.." Harry smiled and hugged Ivan before he left.

What did Ivan get himself into..

Harry told him to meet them in front of the room he talked about , Ivan might've not have the invisibility cloak so he'll have to be extra careful. Ivan walked past Orion and Cedric shutting them both down , " wait he's ignoring me as well? " Orion looked at Cedric panicked " ok we're going to confront him sooner or later..but first we need to figure out why he's mad at us " he was pacing back and forth. Ivan was sitting alone during dinner silently eating while reading his book , " ok here's the plan so you're gonna go and sit beside him and act lovey dovey as you do before and I'll make my way over there and we interrogate him " Orion explained to Cedric before he could say anything Orion pushed Cedric towards the Hufflepuff table. He was making his way towards Ivan but someone walked past him and sat beside Ivan , Alistair looked at Cedric and stuck his tongue at him Cedric but he didn't take that lightly he walked over and sat to Ivan's left while Alistair was on his right.

Ivan looked up to see two boys sitting on both his sides , Alistair took his hands and placed a kiss on it like usual clearly amused when he sees Cedric mad. " If you two aren't here to act friendly do leave me out.." Ivan glared at both of them they both ended up sitting there eating their dinner silently , Ivan smiled slightly once dinner ended he made his way to his room Cedric trailing behind him " Ivan..please just tell me what did I do wrong.." Cedric pleaded when they arrived in their room Ivan took a deep breath " you and Orion.." he mumbled " what was it Ivan " " you and Orion are together right.." Ivan felt tears built up thinking about his two best friends getting together , It wasn't his business to know but he felt jealous especially when he likes Cedric. Ivan suddenly felt Cedric hugging him " oh curse you for being so adorable..but we're not together what makes you think that " Ivan hugged him back " I saw you two being awfully close and it made me jealous.." Ivan sniffled as Cedric and him pulled away from each other.

Cedric comforted Ivan more but he ended up passing out , Ivan got out of Cedric's grip and walked out the Hufflepuff dorm to meet up with the golden trio. He was lucky enough to not be caught by Filch and his cat , He was standing in front before he heard they're voices " no one's here so you three can show yourself " Harry took the invisibility cloak off them and walked over to the door. He opened the door effortlessly it was strange usually a door the school wouldn't want students to find locked , " let me lead Harry someone probably found out about this place since the door is unlocked " Harry nodded as Ivan walked in the room with his wand out. Ivan's heart stopped for a minute as he saw the sleeping three headed dog , he took a deep breath and turned to look at the trio " I'm assuming this is fluffy? " they nodded. A musical tone could be heard through out the room , it was the reason why the dog was asleep Ivan tugged on the door " Harry..i thought you said this door isn't locked " he tried pulling the door again but it won't open. They were very unlucky ,the music suddenly stopped and they felt a breeze passing through them looking back to see the three headed dog awake and stared at them as if they were food " Alohomora! " Ivan managed to open the door with the spell and told them to run in and he followed them before closing the door behind him. All of them fell into a room filled with devil's snare , they were squirming around except for Ivan " don't struggle just relax your body and it'll let you go " Hermione was the first to get out of it Ivan stayed and waited for Harry and Ron. 

Harry finally listened and got out , Ron was still squirming making it devil's snare grip tighter " Ron i need you to listen to me..you'll be alright just relax i'll be there with you " he finally relaxed and dropped down as Ivan did the same. He checked the trio to see if they were alright , " you did well Ron i'm proud of you now let's get going " Ivan ruffled his hair before walking forward. They entered a room filled with flying keys and a broom presented in front of them , Harry volunteered since he's a seeker in quidditch seeing the flying keys chasing him truly worried Ivan. When Harry landed holding the key , Ivan ruffled his hair as Harry used the key to open the door when they walked in the room was filled with big chess pieces ready to be played.
