When I got back to the house I went to the back yard. Discovering that it was a bad idea.

"Jade?" Carter said from the roof.

I looked up and seen him walking over to the edge so he could see more clear.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Are you alright? Where's Seth?" He asked.

"I'm fine and for Seth, I don't know, nor do I give a fuck where he is." I said.

"What did he do this time?" He asked coming down the ladder.

I sighed. This was something I couldn't tell Carter.

"Everything" I replied.

"Did he hurt you?" He asked walking over to me.

"No, not exactly." I responded. Yes, just not physically but mentally.

"What do you mean not exactly?" He asked taking a step closer.

"He didn't hurt me. I'm fine, everything's perfectly fine. He actually saved me from two cars" I said.

"God Jade really? Again?" He asked sadness in his eyes.

"Yeah" I looked to the floor.

"You really need to start watching what you're doing" he said.

"I know and I would have, but my mind is so distracted today. I don't know what to do or where to go." I said.

"If its that bad then you need to stay in bed." He said.

"I can't, my dad wants me to help." I said.

"Your dad cares more about you than anything. I'm sure he will let you rest at home today." He said.

"Okay" I nodded.

Carter gave me a tight hug.

"You go talk to him alright." He told me.

"Okay" I sighed and walked around to the front of the house. I ignored Seth as I past him in the driveway.

I walked into the living room and waited for a right time to talk. "Dad?" I spoke.

"Yeah?" He asked still focusing on his task.

"Can I go home? I don't feel to well" I asked.

He looked up "What's the problem?" He asked.

"It's just-, I can't really think straight, There's not much for me to do and I have a headache." I said.

"Why don't you go lay out in the grass or something, you'll be fine." He said And went back to what he was doing.

UGH! I just can't lie can i.

I didn't reply, i just did as he said. I went to the front yard and laid down in the grass. I looked up to the sky, wanting it to swallow me, so I didn't have to think anymore.

I closed my eyes letting myself drift off into whatever trance the warm sun had me in. My eyes snapped open when something warm and wet touched my ear.

I jumped up to my feet wiping my ear. I then let myself relax when I looked down and realized it was just a dog. A tiny dog. "Where did you come from?" I asked picking up the cute little puppers.

The dog began sniffing me and then it started licking me. "Thanks but I think I'll wait to get home to have a shower" I said.

The dogs tail wagged faster and it barked. It startled me. I started petting it hoping it wouldn't bite me or something, but telling by her tail she was to happy for that.
