"I don't want to go home. My dad invited his new girlfriend over last night, whom I didn't know about and I know her son which makes it weirder" I said

"Who is the son?" Seth asked.

"They actually live right next door to you. I guess they met when your dad and my dad were fixing the house" I said.

"How do you know the son?" He asked.

"Are you getting jealous?" I teased looking for any reaction in his face.

"No. Maybe- Yes. It's some dude I don't know, of course I am. Is he attractive? Wait no- Do you find him attractive? Actually just answer the first question first." He said.

"Um... I'm gonna say no just so you don't go attack him." I said.

"Wait what? So that means you do!" He said looking genuinely shocked.

"Oh calm down I don't like him like that. He's just a friend. And plus his mom is dating my dad so it's more like a brother and sister thing now" I said.

"Now? What was it before?" He said teasing.

"Nothing, I just thought his dog was cute, that's about it." I said.

"Oh so you know the dog. That's nice" He said sarcasticly.

"I knew the dog before him, I was laying in your yard and their dog wondered over. Shes a tiny little thing." I said

I looked over at Seth and his face was stern, the jokes were gone, he seemed to be in deep thought now. "It's nothing to worry about Babe, I don't really know him." I said.

"That's how it starts out. I was just some dude too. What if you become good friends and you fall in love with him and forget about me?" He said.

"You're the only one I love Seth. I love you just as much as you love me. I'm not turning you in for some guy with a dog. I'm too deep into this to even think about another guy." I said

"Good cause you're mine" He said pulling me to his chest and wrapping himself around me practically cuddling me the death.

"I need to see this side of you more, your vulnerable side" I said.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaa" He looked at me like I was insane.

I laughed. "You're so cute" I poked his cheek.

"You're the cute one." He said trying to kiss all over my face.

"Shut up you're so silly, let's get going" I said.

I arrived at my house to find out that Holli and Max hadn't left yet. Confused, I went in and seen them all sitting in the living room watching tv.

"Why are they still here?" I asked dad.

"Don't be rude Jade" My dad said.

"She's fine. She's just not use to this yet" Holli said.

"I'm sorry but I'm never going to be okay with this. My dad dating someone was never something I prepared for, my thoughts were always on my mom. I never met her but I sure in the hell don't need some random lady coming in thinking she can fill that spot in. I'm not okay with this!" I said.

"Babe, maybe we should go." Seth said.

I ignored Seth. "Jade you will not talk to anyone like that you hear me! Do you want to be grounded again! It doesn't matter what you think Jade! This is my life! My girlfriend! You don't tell me what to do and you sure in the hell don't tell her what to do" My dad yelled at me.
