Three days and I finally got things at the bakery together. No more angry customers. No more free pastries. Seth has been spending time with Bradley so I haven't seen him much, and the guys have been working. I haven't really had time to be pissed off at my dad and Holli, I've been staying late nights to catch up orders.

Today I decided to try and keep the doors open late hours since I was there anyways.. It's 10:30 pm now and I'm finishing up some orders that were needed by tomorrow. I have music playing through the speakers while I bake. it was interrupted by the sound of the bell from the front door. I wiped my hands and walked up front. I seen a nice looking older lady standing there.

"Hello! I hope you don't mind me stoping in. I was walking by and I needed a sit. Could you be a dear and get me some tea" She said going through her bag for money.

"Sure thing and no worries, it's on the house." I said

"Oh what a sweetheart... I swear you are just like your mother but no one will listen to me" She said sitting down in a booth.

"Really? You think so?" I asked taking her the tea.

"Yes oh very much so. She was so kind and generous. She gave the town just what it needed, a bit of light to shine on things. She was the towns source of happiness" She said.

"She brought everyone together, always having community get togethers at the park or beach, raising money for people that needed it, gave people clothes and furniture if they needed it, she even gave people the best advice without realizing it. She was very outgoing."

"And in you my dear I see that same light. It will start out hard, it does for everyone but you will one day do great things for this town. They may not appreciate it now but trust me dear, you'll have this town in the palm of your hands." She said

"Thank you ma'am" I said. Bringing her the tea.

"You have a strong heart like your mother and a big one too! We will forever miss Gina, she was a great women and I can feel that same passion in you, cause with this place open you'll help a lot of people just like your mother did. This town will be whole again" She said.

"I don't know about that." I laughed nervously. Who is this lady again? And why was she talking up me and my mother so much?

She finished off her drink. "I know this was quick stop but I must hurry home, please do have a good night and don't work too hard, I was always worried your mom would work herself over" She laughed.

"May I ask how you know my mom?" I asked.

"Oh sweetie, everyone knew your mom. But I was one of her regulars, we would sit and chat till late... This brings back memories... How is your dad?." She asked.

"He's doing good"

"Good man that one." She said getting up out of the booth.

"He was love sick for your mother. Always bringing flowers to the point she had to decorate in them." She smiled as she reached the door.

"Oh you have a safe night okay" She said

"I will and you be carful walking home" I said

"Don't worry I have a feeling your mom is watching over us all" She smiled once more before walking out the door.

I stood there for a moment. I wasn't sure how to feel or how to react, so I decided not to think to far into it. I went back to the brownie balls I was making and the door went off again. I thought maybe she forgot something but I seen Max walking to the counter instead.
