Never Untouched

Eight

Waking up was horrid, My dad and Kelly came into the room loud as can be.

I'm no morning person, I could feel the annoyance before I could even wake up enough to react.

I was tired and I just wanted to sleep. I could sleep the day away. "Dad shut up!" I finally said.

"I will go if you two get up and meet us down stairs in 10 minutes" He said.

"We have lots of stuff to do today" Kelly said.

"5 more minutes and I'll get up" I said.

"Agreed" Seth's voice was low and husky.

I felt my blanket get pulled off me. "DAD! Give me back my damn blanket!" I yelled.

Mornings make me cranky, especially when someone wakes me up.

"No Jade! You guys are gonna get up, get dressed, then we are gonna go for breakfast" My dad said.

"Yeah so hurry up, I'm hungry." Kelly said.

I grunted and jumped off the top bunk landing on my feet to the floor. I stomped my way to the bathroom and closed the door locking it.

I ran the shower so I could wake myself up for the day. I like to think a shower is a peaceful way. At least I'll get some privacy again. They ruined my morning sleep. Which means I am going to bed early tonight or I'm taking a nap sometime today.

I stripped down and got into the shower. I did the usuals. After I was sure I was fully awake and wasn't pissed off anymore. I turned off the shower and reached for a towel in the cupboard and dried myself off.

I twisted my hair up into the towel once my body wasn't dripping of water anymore. I then moisturized myself and took my hair back down so I could wrap myself again.

I knocked on my bathroom door holding my ear up to it. "Did you just knock on the bathroom door?" I heard Seth ask from the other side.

How am I going to do this? I can't ask him to hand me some clothes, I don't want him going through my things. I definitely can't just walk out there, that's too much exposure.

"Yeah I did" I replied.

"Why? Do you need something?" He asked.

"I do but um.." I trailed off

"But?" He asked.

I opened my mouth but this time I hesitated before speaking. When I didn't reply he asked "What is it? I'll get it for you."

"No it's okay, I'll get them. Can you just leave the room for a moment? I didn't grab clothes before coming in here and I need to get dressed." I told him.

He was quiet for a minute "Yeah sure thing" He said. I held my ear to the door listening to his foot steps and then the other door opening and closing.

I creaked the door open and peaked out. I had to make sure he wasn't trying to play games. But the coast was clear. I ran to my closet as if someone was still watching.

I reached to my dresser grabbing undergarments and slipping them on. I turned back to my closet and pulled on a pair of skinny jeans and a black shirt.

I went over to the door and opened it and seen Seth standing in the hall. "You can come back in now." I said and he walked back in.

"That took you like 2 seconds. What kind of girl are you?" He asked.

"Definitely not like the rest of them in this world" I said.

"How so?" He asked.

"You just asked me what kind of girl I was. I'm not a type. I'm me. I definitely don't fit with other girls because we are all unique." I said.
