Third-person POV

You were awoken by the sound of someone knocking on the door to your chambers. A little confused about why someone would require you so late at night when most Asgardians would usually be asleep. You stumbled out of bed and make your way to the door still half asleep.
"Loki? Are you ok? What's the wrong?" Loki was standing at your door with red eyes and tear-stained cheeks.
You guided him by the hand to your bed to sit down.
"What happened?" concern fill your voice of why your boyfriend had come knocking at your door in the middle of the night crying.
"I'm a monster. I- I'm a Frost giant. That's why my father never loved me as much as Thor!"
"What? Loki, calm down and start from the beginning so I can understand."
"Odin lied to me, I'm not his son. I'm really the son of Laufey and a frost giant! I got so upset I started yelling at Odin and then he fell to the ground. He has fallen into the Odin's sleep and mother fears that he may never waken again!" Loki explained
You stare at him dumbfounded for a few minutes, unsure of how you are supposed to react to all this new information before wrapping your arms around Loki.
"Y/n, I'm a frost giant! A monster! Doesn't that repulse you?" he asks you confused as to why you aren't disgusted by him.
"Why would I be? I love you! It doesn't matter to me if you are a Frost giant or not, nothing could change the way I feel about you!" you look up at him.
"I love you too." he gently presses his lips to yours sweetly.
You and Loki fall asleep in each other's arms, leaving all of the problems to worry about for tomorrow but for now you and Loki soaked up the the warmth and feeling of safety from each others company.
