Third-person POV
You check your phone for the fifth time tonight. You had waited half an hour, the guy wasn't coming and had stood you up. Just as you were about to call it a night and head home a man rushed over to you.
"Y/n?" I nodded my head, "I'm Tony. I apologise for being late, I had to stay overtime for work."
You pouted you lips debating whether or not to just leave. you usually would have already caught a taxi home if someone had made you wait half an hour without a call to give you a heads up they would be late but you had a feeling about Tony that made you stay a little longer.
"Please let me make it up to you! Let me take you somewhere other than some bar! I promise you won't regret it!" he pleaded for a second shot.
"Fine but you should know I don't normally give people second chances."
...
Ok so when he said he'd take you somewhere other than a bar, you did not think he meant you being hundreds of feet in the air with the only thing stopping you from falling to your death was one of the arms on Tony's multi-million dollar iron suit being wrapped around you waist. This guy was definitely getting a second date.
