Chapter Eighteen

*Angel's POV*

"LANCE DREW SANDERS! COME BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!" I shouted playfully, running after him as he zoomed passed the quiet hallways.

"Catch me if you can, babe!" He shouted, laughing hysterically.

This guy can run like a freaking cheetah! How the heck am I supposed to be able to catch up?

Then a plan entered my mind, as I smirked evilly.

"Ouch! My ankle!" I shouted, acting that I twisted my ankle as I sat down on the cold floor, massaging my ankle.

Within two seconds, I could already see Lance's retreating body with a worried expression on his handsome face.

I wanted to burst out laughing how easily he fell for it. but nope, I had to wait and have a little fun.

"Baby, are you alright?! What happened?!" He franctically asked, his hands massaging my ankle.

"It hurts so bad! I-I slipped and twisted my ankle pretty bad." I wailed, pouting.

"Let's get you to the nurse's office." He said, taking my arms and wrapping it around his neck.

This was my cue. I immediately wrapped my legs around his waist tightly and grinned at him evilly.

"I caught you now. It was all acting." I smirked, his expression was priceless.

"What was that for? You got me worried!" He exclaimed, hugging me.

I hugged back and as soon as we pulled away, I smacked him in the head.

"That's for being an idiot and for giving me a hickey without my permission!" I said, pretending to be angry.

"You still love me anyway." He smirked, as he leaned down to kiss my lips.

Ugh, I could never get tired of his damn kisses.

"You're right, I do." with that, he placed me down on the floor and kissed me one last time before we went our separate ways.

-After school-

Finally, school was done for today and I couldn't help but feel happy!

Today was the day me and Lance made it official.

I gathered all my books, pencil, notebooks and eraser and neatly arranged it in my backpack.

Every student piled out of the classrooms and made their way out to go home. I tried to find my boyfriend but of course, failed because there were a lot of students.

I sighed, giving up and made my way out. I'll just text him once I get out of this cramped up hallway.

As soon as I opened the school doors, the cold wind greeted me making me shiver in pleasure.

I walked past the chattering students and went to a place where it would be less noisy.

Lance was probably looking for me right now.

I sat down on the nearest bench, admiring the beautiful newly grown flowers.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" Someone asked. I looked up to see Seth.

"Um, sure." I said unsurely.

I'm not exactly sure why the hell he was trying to talk to me. I'm honestly not mad at him anymore.

Past is past. But memories would forever remain.

"How may I help you?" I asked politely, giving him a small smile.

"Look Angel, I'm actually here to apologize. A proper apology. I know I've been a completely idiotic, inconsiderate jerk to you especially how I played with your feelings because of some stupid dare. I shouldn't have agreed to it, but I was a teenage idiot who thinks it would let me get more popular, but I really regret it. and I am extremely sorry from the bottom if my heart. I understand if you can't forgive me yet." Seth said, making me shocked that he apologized.

I felt a twitch in the end of my lips, pulling a smile on my face. I stood up, walking over to him and gave him a tight hug, which obviously shocked him a bit.

"I forgive you." I said, smiling at him.

"Thank you, Angel. You really are amazing, as what Lance said. Speaking of, he's coming right now." I smirked at me and winked.

I blushed, knowing Lance probably told him that we made it official today.

I turned around as I saw him walk towards me with a smile on his face, showing off his perfect teeth and dimples. Ugh, how handsome and hot can he be? seriously.

"How's my gorgeous girl?" He asked, kissing my cheeks and pulling me closer to him.

"I'm fine, thanks. How about you?" I replied, pecking his warm lips.

"Well, been bored in class cause you weren't there. You've been on my mind the whole afternoon, babe." He replied, winking at me and chuckled as to see a blush starting to form my cheeks.

Okay, what's up with me blushing every single time he makes a sweet remark?

Someone cleared their throat and we both turned around, seeing Seth with a grin. "As much as I want you guys to continue with your loveydovey thing, but I just wanted to tell you both that there will be a Couple Dancing Contest in 3 and a half weeks tops. I'm really hoping you both could join since you're really great dancers."

Both Lance and I grinned from ear to ear and said, "We'll join!" in unison.

"Great! I'll tell Dad that both of you will join." Seth replied, smiling at us and giving a thumbsup sign.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to what Seth has said.

"Wait, why would you tell your Dad?" I asked, looking at both of them back and forth.

"Oh, uh, my Dad is the founder of the Live life dance company. You know, Allen Kale?" He explained.

Oh my gosh. Allen Kale is Seth's Dad?! Why haven't I noticed that before?! oh right, we broke up. That explains everything!

"Ooooh.." I trailed off making both the guys laugh at my puzzled look.

Major facepalm and the most oblivious award goes to no other than, Angel White! clap clap.

"Well I gotta go. Good luck you guys! I'm positive you'll win. No doubt in that!" With that Seth waved at us goodbye and left.

"Come on, babe. We got a lot of practicing to do." Lance wrapped an arm around my waist as we started to head to the nearest studio near my house.

This day might just be really awesome, I can't wait for the contest!
