*Angel's POV*

Wow, I did not expect this to happen. Why was Nate here??

He looked at me with a shock expression and I was about to say something but evetually, the cat caught my tongue. Instead of saying anything else, I hopped off the chair and tried to escape from him but I got stopped by a person who held onto my wrist.

"Please..let go." I managed to say, but it turned out into a whisper and my voice broke.

"What are you doing here? We've been looking for you. Lance has been going insane." He said, his voice filled with sadness. But I instantly scoffed when I heard Lance's name.

"He's been going insane? That's complete and utter bull and we all know that. How could you guys lie to me and going behind my back like that?" right at this moment, I wanted to just cry out the pain but I held it back, not wanting to look weak in front of Nate.

"I-I'm sorry A-Angel, they both told us to cover for them because they were gonna do this dare that we all didn't know about. We didn't even know it was going to turn out like that!" He cried out, and pulled me into a comforting hug.

I just wanted to get mad at all the people who were involved in this little drama and just scream to the top of my lungs. I was going insane. It hurt too much.

"It's fine.." I said, and practically cried silently. Nate patted my back gently, comforting me and soothing me with comforting words. Yes, when I said it was fine, it really wasn't.

"Don't tell anyone where I am, please.." it came out in a soft whisper, and he just nodded his head and smiled a weakly.

"Why are you here anyway?" I asked, wiping my tears away.

"Well, my friend actually owns this place. and he invited me to hang with him since it's been awhile since we last met." He explained and I just nodded while my mouth was forming an 'O'

"Ah, well um, I probably should go now.." I said, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Wait, please come back soon and don't forget to contact me. I won't tell anyone. My lips are sealed." He said with pleading eyes.

I nodded my head, and gave a small smile. "Sure will. It was nice seeing you, Nate."

"You too, Angel. Take care." He replied, smiling.

--

Two weeks and a half has passed by, and today was the day that I was planning to go back home. Yes, I'm coming home.

Exciting? I think not.

I haven't exactly contacted any of my friends, cause I changed my number. As so you know, I've been away for nearly a month.

The only person who I keep in touch, is with Nate. My parents have been worried sick and I feel so bad for leaving without telling them.

Nate went to my house about a week ago, and told him that I was safe and they don't need to worry aboutc anything. My parents begged Nate to tell them where I was, but I made him promise me to not tell anyone.

Mom and Dad eventually gave up on forcing him to spill the beans, but Nate resfused to so yeah, they said as long as I was safe.

I sighed, shoving the last thing that was left inside my suitcase. Was this a good idea? Well, one thing's for sure.

I can never run away forever..

That's honestly true. I do have to come home one way or another before my parents calls the police to find me and drag me out of this place. Believe me, they would.
