“Yes. I love art. I’m so in love with art that I can not explain in words. Art to me is like the shade in dazzling heat, like a warm coffee sip in the chilling winters. Like the happiness parents feel when their child speaks their first word. Painting gives a piece of contentment, this satisfaction that I yearn everyday I’m sitting on the office chair in evening.” She continued looking at the setting sun.

The golden shine falling on her creating this angelic look of her.

“As you know Jimin’s dream was to be a model which he fulfilled after a fight with dad. Our dad wanted his children to run his company and make it reach new heights. But jimin was never, never ever for once was in business.” She looked at me now.

“So instead of him, I decided to fulfil our dad’s this wish. I was already in business administration so it was not a much task to me. I persuaded my career here. Joined your company for guidance. One year more and I'll handle dad's company.” She sighed.

“Why didn't you go for arts? You could have asked uncle park. I’m sure he would have asked you to do what you love.”

“he would. That's the issue taehyung. I saw the hurt in his eyes. Jimin was one of the brightest among us three. Dad thought he can handle his business. But nothing. So I decided to do it instead of him” she smiled.

How can she fucking smile here?

“so what? You can go for art now. I’m sure Jay is fully into business. He can handle uncle park’s company.”

“You are not understanding taehyung. Jay is a kid.”

“he’s in his last semester and with a training of a year or couple can make him handle the business so well.”

“Dad is already so aged and still go to his office. Waiting for a year or two again will just harm his health now. For me he matters the most then this stupid dream of mine.”

I shushed her.

Her eye widening a little.

My hand made there way to her cheek as I cupped her honey brown cheeks

“strawberry, no dream is stupid. No. Your dream matters.”

“You will not understand taehyung. It’s easy say then do.”

I laughed a bitter chuckle and shook my head a little. I do surely know how it feels to be doing something which is not your passion.

“This pain is clearly known to me. I’ve experienced it. Not everyone have a perfect life strawberry.” She looked confused. She frown deeper. “I was forced to choose to business too.”
“I thought uncle and aunt both are cool kind of parents.”

“They are but being the only child they thought I would not be able to earn myself enough. Their business was already set up so all I did was handle it.”

“Oh no. No. You didn’t not just handle it tae. You earned yourself the title of CEO. I bet no one can do this job better then you.” I smiled.

I’ve heard praises from a lot of people but from her,
I feel more proud of myself.

“What were you dreams?”

“singing.”

She gasped. “no way you sing.”

“In every way I do sing.”

I laughed seeing her expression. God! She’s cute.

“Prove it”

“you sure?” she nodded her head enthusiastically, which made me blurt a chuckle and a wide grin.
Oh my tummy hurts.
I took my Guitar and sang her a song.

“so how was it?”

Her mouth was hung open. A laugh shook my chest silently

“close your mouth sweetheart or some unnecessary things can enter it.”

I don’t know suddenly that sentence felt weird.

Her face turned red while her eyes wiggled here and there.

My phone rang breaking the awkward air around us. Internally thanking to it I picked up the call without looking at the number.

My smile fell.

“I’m coming” her face held confusion “where are you going? It’s already late.”

“I’m sorry strawberry, it’s urgent” I kissed her forehead and walked out.

I don’t know why I did that but that felt so safe and needed at that moment. Like I want to tell her that I’ll always be with her whether it’s about her dream, her safety, her decisions or her life.
