Chapter 6: The End of Planet Vegeta, Saiyans, and Bardock

After sending Kakarot to Earth, something was about to happen. On Frieza's ship, Kikono warned Frieza that destroying the Saiyans will reduce their forces by nearly half, but Frieza wasn't too worried about that, he knows the Saiyans will turn on him the first chance they get. He decided it was time.

Before Frieza could destroy Planet Vegeta...

It has been a while now since Bardock sent Kakarot to Planet Earth. It was sad to see Gine depressed like this. The two of her sons are gone. Kouta could tell Raditz was still on the mission with Prince Vegeta. Kouta began to wonder what will happen to the fate of this planet by Frieza after Bardock was feeling suspicious of his greedy needs. He has no idea what will happen next.

As Kouta and Eric were done completing the mission, they headed back home immediately until Bardock arrived with an excited smile.

"Great news, boys. The ship is finished and it looks like it is time for you two to head home." Bardock said, smiling.

"Really? We can finally go home!?" Eric asked happily.

He nodded in response.

"That's great news, Bardock. Man, it's been almost six years now since we crash-landed. It was nice knowing you, Bardock." Kouta said who looked happy after all these years of being homesick. After all, he missed his family and friends.

Bardock sighed with a sad look. "Before you two go, please... be careful with the damn whale."

Eric nodded, smirking. "We will."

"One more thing. Are you two ever come visit us?" Bardock asked with a curious look.

"What do you mean?" Kouta asked, confused why Bardock was giving them a sad look.

He frowned. "Something is about to happen."

Kouta frowned back. "Death is coming for us..."

"Unfortunately is it. I know it was Frieza's doing. He is going to do something terrible and I don't like it." Bardock said, clenching his fists tightly.

"What does that mean?" Eric asked, confused.

"Frieza is going to kill us all," Kouta answered.

"What!? You mean right now he is!?" Eric asked in shock.

He nodded in response to him.

"Oh, God! We need to leave this place right now!" Eric panicked.

"Does Frieza know who we are?" Kouta asked his best friend.

"I don't think so. Frieza doesn't know you two are humans, but I am going to get you two to the ship and then you two out of the ship." Bardock said.

They nodded.

When the night comes...

It was then Bardock, Kouta, and Eric quickly ran towards the ship from the clear area where all the Saiyans has built for them. As they arrived, Kouta and Eric finally entered the ship and were ready to take off. Before they could, Kouta faced Bardock one last time as he gave him an unfortunate look.

"Like I said it was nice knowing you, Bardock. You've been a great friend." Kouta said, smiling at him.

"You, too. Oh! When you see Kakarot somewhere on Earth, please take care of him for us." Bardock pleaded with them.

"I promise," Kouta assured him.

"And Eric, be a man," Bardock suggested to him.

"I will."

"Goodbye," Bardock said. Then the ship took off flying towards the sky and it was then they finally made it to outer space before making sure they don't get eaten by the whale again.

Goodbye, friends. Don't forget about us. Bardock thought.

After a while, a hatch opened as Frieza floated out in his hover-throne, wasting no time launching the attack to destroy the planet. The Saiyans noticed the sky turning bright red; Gine looked up from her work in the butcher shop, and Leek stared in shock as the Supernova approached.

His armor has been heavily damaged after fighting several of Frieza's minions, Bardock alone launched a Final Spirit Cannon to stop Frieza's attack, but inexorably his attack overwhelmed his own, and his armor burned off as he was killed and the planet was destroyed.

Frieza joyfully proclaimed that he felt like a weight has been lifted as the life signs on his scouter screen dwindle to zero.

Somewhere out in space, Prince Vegeta was on a mission with Raditz, Nappa, and two adult Saiyans. One Saiyan informed the others that Planet Vegeta has been destroyed by a meteor. They are shocked, and they rush to inform the prince. Raditz said they were lucky to be spared, and Vegeta mused that he will never be King Vegeta now.

Nappa asked Vegeta about his brother, but Vegeta doesn't care about him. The other adult Saiyan asked Raditz about Kakarot, and Raditz said that Kakarot doesn't matter because he was a weakling, but his mother had earlier relayed the message that Kakarot had been sent off-world. Prince Vegeta looked toward the sky and laughed.

Back on Planet Vampa, Broly was eating a Vampa Beetle from a giant eggshell, and he looked toward the sky as Kakarot's space pod passed by. The pod made its way toward Earth. And so are Kouta and Eric's ship after they managed to escape from the whale and entered back their dimension.

When they eventually made it to Planet Earth after they stumbled from a different dimension, Kouta and Eric quickly landed in the area and reunited Eric's father and Suko after so long.

"Eric! Kouta!" Kouta and Eric saw Eric's father, Suko, and the rest of the men coming toward them. The first one to hug Kouta was Suko. He could feel him trembling as he held him tightly.

"My son," Eric's father cried out as he hugged his son.

"Boys..." Kouta said, his icy blue eyes softening.

"Where have you been? You've been for five months!" Suko cried out after they stopped hugging him.

"What!? Five months!?" Eric said in shock.

"And you two have changed since the last time we see you. What happened?" Eric's father said after a hug, worried.

"Well... about that. We were sent to a different dimension and been stuck there for five years." Kouta said nervously as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Five years!?" Eric's father and Suko said in shock at the same time.

"We never aged, so that's great for us," Eric replied.

"Interesting. How did that happen?" Eric's father said, rubbing his chin.

"There was a whale from outer space after destroying the ship and eating our men, so you guys better stay away from it," Eric said.

"I see," Eric's father said.

"Kouta, your wife has been wondering where you have been for five months. She was worried and sick about you, so you might as well come to see her." Suko said.

"She's not mad at me, right?" Kouta asked, worried.

He smirked, looking away. "You'll have to find out yourself."

He let out a relieved sigh. "I am looking forward to seeing her."

"She is going to be shocked when she sees you like this," Suko said as the two began to walk inside, leaving Eric and his father alone.

"I would say the same way, Suko, my old friend," Kouta replied. While walking with Suko, he looked over the sky, thinking of Bardock as he wondered what happened to him and his kind.

Bardock... We will never forget you. Kouta thought sadly.
