It's been five years since the Queen gave birth to her last child, and to say that the royal family has changed would be an understatement. The year is 295 AC, and it starts a very hectic week for one person. Cassana's tenth name day is fast approaching, and her Father and Mother have insisted on a week full of celebration. However, Cassana would prefer to do anything else for her birthday. The only bright spot of the forced-upon festivities is that all her Uncles and Grandfather would be there for her name day celebrations. She had not seen her Uncle Stannis or Uncle Tyrion for years and was genuinely excited to see them and show them everything she had learned and all that had changed since they had last seen her. It's the beginning of her name day week, and she was woken up early by Milah as she asked her to so that she could get her lessons done as early as possible so she had time to spend with her brothers and sister and perhaps get a bit of training done if she could. She has been at her lessons for what feels like ages and is giving Milah "may we be done" eyes for about an hour. Cassana knows Milah sees the look and will drag it on for as long as possible to annoy her, as she has done many times before.
"Is there something you wish to discuss, princess?" Cassana drops her eyes back to the book in front of her. "No, nothing at all." Milah looks up from her paper and eyes the girl before her. Milah has been Cassana's Septa for some time and has loved every moment. She adores the princess and finds her a truly extraordinary mind to teach. Milah enjoys watching over the young princess and is grateful she has the opportunity to teach her and watch her grow in mind and body. "So you wouldn't be hoping to finish, so you could go train, perhaps?" Cassana quickly looks up from her book and sees Milah giving her a teasing smile. "Ugh, must you always tease me!" Milah laughs and rises as she collects all the materials that scatter the table and puts them away. She enjoys messing with the girl when she can to bring lightness to a life that will never be normal for a girl her age. Milah puts everything away and approaches the door before turning to see Cassana still sitting.
"Well, are you coming, or shall I watch the men train instead?" Cassana jumps up from her seat and makes her way to connect her arms with her Septa. "Yes, quickly. We should go before Uncle thinks I am to be late." They make their way through the many halls to the training yard of the Red Keep, where they see Cassana's Uncle and her brothers. The first one to notice her presence is her youngest brother, Tommen, who, like Joffrey, loves to follow her and be her little shadow whenever he can. "Cass, you're here!" he sprints and enters her arms. Which she was lucky enough to be prepared for. Cassana smiles at her five-year-old brother and brings him into a tight hug before kissing his forehead. "Yes, Tommen, I'm here. Were you waiting for me?". Tommen nods to his sister before latching onto her side so she would be forced to carry him, but not before looking up to Milah and waving to her. Tommen loves all his siblings, but he favors Cassana the most. He likes what she likes and who, so when he first met Milah and realized that Cassana trusted her, he did, too. They walk towards Joffrey and their Uncle, and Joffrey is the first to speak out of the two.
