It has been a year since Princess Cassana was born, and today is the tournament held to celebrate her name day. King Robert has invited all seven kingdoms to attend the event. However, the Queen is not as excited about the tournament as she believes it is inappropriate to associate violence with their daughter's day of birth. But the King has commanded it, so the tournament will be held as planned.

Currently, Cersei sits with baby Cassana while waiting for her beloved twin to escort them to breakfast with their father and brother. It will be the first time Tywin Lannister meets his granddaughter, and Cersei is skeptical of his reaction to her. Cersei looks down at her beautiful daughter, amazed something so tiny could bring such joy. She will not allow her father to ruin that, not her daughter, not as he did her. Cersei turns her daughter to face her and says, "You're growing up so quickly, my love. It feels like you opened your eyes just yesterday." Cassana looks at her mother and smiles with a small coo, something that never ceases to make the queen smile. "Your uncle will be here soon, and then we will meet your grandfather and the imp," she says with distaste. Unknown to her, Jaime has entered the room to fetch his sister and niece. "Now, sister, we should not teach her such words so young; it would not be proper for a future queen, would it?" he says with a smile and eyebrow raised; his entrance startles his sister, who sends his beloved niece into a fit of giggles something that makes his smile bigger. Though attempted, he found that he loved his niece no matter who her father was. He would protect her no matter what for as long as he could; she was as much Cersei's daughter as Robert's.

Cersei glares at her brother for the scare, but her daughter's laughter doesn't make it last long. It's as though that laugh could change any mood she was in. She stands with her daughter in her arms, still in a fit of giggles, partly because of the faces her uncle is making at her. "Must you always sneak up? One would think with all that armor, you would be louder." Though she looks unamused, her tone states otherwise. Jamie chuckles and moves towards the two most significant women in his life. "Yes, I must, or I wouldn't get to see this one's beautiful smile every time you jump dear sister." he stands directly in front of them both. When he does so, Cassana sees this and leans toward her uncle, wishing to leave her mother's arms for his. He takes her in his arms happily and begins to bounce, making her smile; though only a year old, she knows that Jamie is important. He makes her mother smile. Therefore, he makes her smile. She finds his hair fascinating and likes to pull on it, something only one of the twins finds amusing. Jamie looks up from his niece to her mother and says, "Now shall we go eat and let Father see if she is worthy of his disappointment?" he says with a grin as he leads them into the hallway. Jamie, too, is nervous about their father meeting Cassana; Tywin Lannister is known for having high expectations and an unapologetic way of letting them be known, and he fears he will ruin this baby before she even has a chance to grow, let alone make a mistake. They go to the chamber where their brother and father await them. Cersei approaches the room and takes back Cassana, "Into the fire, we go my love," she says, looking down at her daughter, who has no clue what she is about to walk into.
