When Ash woke up, he expected to see Serena sleeping next to him, but instead he woke up to his friend Pikachu, sniffing his face.

He sat up mad saw that he was sleeping on a bench. His thoughts went back to when Serena was kissing Calem. There's no way she would do that... would she? All he could think of was her. All the things he loved about her and then what he did to him. A part of him wanted Serena to comfort him, but another wanted her to stay away. Her laugh and smile snuck into his mind, making him want Serena a back. But then he thought back to when Serena kissed Calem again. The pain she made him feel. He only felt pain when he thought of her in the end. He wanted her out of his mind. A tear fell from his cheek, landing onto Pikachu's nose.

"Pika..." Pikachu looked up at his best friend and climbed up onto his shoulder.

Ash stayed up till midnight, running and crying away from Serena's house. Pikachu saw him out a window and went out the back window to follow him. Ash kept complaining about how he would never go back, but then after that he always seemed to be questioning what he'd said. Ash was heartbroken. Pikachu wanted to fix it, but he didn't know how.

"Pikachu." Pikachu nuzzled his cheeks against Ash's.

Ash managed a smile. "Thanks buddy." Ash scratched Pikachu's head. "At least you're always here for me."

Pikachu jumped down off of Ash's shoulder and pointed over towards Serena's house.

"Pikachu, I'm not going back there." Ash stood up.

"Pika..." Pikachu put its ears down and jumped off the bench. It started to head towards Serena's house.

"Pikachu, I'm not going back." Ash repeated.

Pikachu this time turned around and walked over to Ash, who was walking the opposite way of Serena's house, but before he could walk any further, he heard someone yell from behind him. He turned around and saw Bonnie running towards him, Clemont barely keeping up.

"Ash!" Bonnie yelled.

"Bonnie?" Ash turned around to face them.

"Ash, where are you going!?" Bonnie asked, out of breath.

"Away." Then Ash turned back around and started to walked away from Bonnie.

"Ash!" Clemont caught up and yelled at him. "Serena didn't do anything, Calem kissed her!"

"That's funny, because that's not what it looked like. It didn't like she was trying to pull away." Ash laughed, still walking away from them.

Clemont ran up in front of him and said, "She couldn't do anything Ash, Calem was holding her down so she couldn't do anything. Calem told us himself. Ash, she's devastated. She hasn't been eating. She hasn't ate all yesterday and today, she hasn't even come out of her room. She's been crying in there for the whole day yesterday and still is Ash, she loves you, you know that more then anyone."

"Well, if she loved me, she wouldn't of hurt me. So she can starve on her own." Ash walked around Clemont.

Clemont, stood there, shocked. "This isn't the Ash I know."

"So what, are you going to push me against a wall and knock some sense into me like last time." Ash mocked.

Bonnie starred at Ash wide eyed. This defiantly wasn't Ash.

"Ash, what's wrong with you!?" Clemont starred at him.

Ash stayed quite for a while, but when he finally spoke up he said, "I'm sorry, I just- I'm just confused. I have mixed feeling for Serena right now." He started at the ground, tears started to fall and hit the concrete. His mind didn't know what to do. He didn't want to get hurt again, never wanted to feel the pain he felt when he saw Serena kiss Calem.

"Just leave me alone for a while okay?" Ash walked away.

"Ash, we didn't just come all this way to just be rejected and we didn't come to see you reject Serena. She loves you. It hurts me to see the way she is right now. Please, come back home." Bonnie tugged on Ash's arm.

"I'm sorry Bonnie, I just need some time to think."

"You don't need any time to think Ash, we all know that Serena wouldn't do something like that to you." Bonnie frowned.

"Bonnie, please. Just leave me alone for a day." Ash continued walking, this time he kept walking, Bonnie and Clemont watching him walk away. Bonnie and Clemont walked back to Serena's house, sad and disappointed. They expected to see the Ash that they've always known, but what the found instead was heartbroken Ash. They would probably find heartbroken Serena back home as well. They both frowned as they walked back, knowing that this wouldn't help Serena.

"Serena, please let me in." Calem knocked on the door.

The only reply he got was crying coming from the room.

"Serena, please. I'm sorry!" Calem yelled as he sat in the hallway.

He heard a knock on the door and he rushed over to the door. He swung it open and saw Bonnie and Clemont... no Ash.

"Where is he!?" Calem asked.

"He didn't want to come back." Bonnie stepped into the house.

"He what!?" Calem started to panic. This was all his fault. Now Serena would starve herself and she would be stuck in that room crying and get depressed. Even though he hated Ash, he would do anything to make Serena happy again. If getting Ash and Serena back together was what if meant, then he would gladly do it.

"How's Serena?" Asked Clemont.

"I still can't get Serena out of her room." Calem frowned.

Clemont shook his head side to side. "I don't know how we will be able to bring her out."

"I don't know either, she's been in there forever. Do you think we need to call somebody? Or should we just knock down the door. She needs to eat."

"I don't think we could even make her eat, Calem. Even if we did open that door and dragged her out here, she would deny the food." Clemont looked over to the hallway at Serena's room. Bonnie stood there saying something to Serena.

"Serena is like a big sister to Bonnie. It hurts her to see her this way. She even didn't want me to tuck her in anymore at night and wanted Serena to instead, after I left to practice for Ash's gym battle against me. I must admit, it kinda hurt when she said that." Clemont sweatdropped. "And now she has to see Serena like this."

Calem looked at Bonnie. She had a worried face and talked in the crack in the door. Calem frowned. It even hurt him to see Bonnie that way.
