"I'm going to go look for him." Calem grabbed his red hat and put it on and headed for the front door. "I want you guys to come with me, he doesn't like me very much so I need you two to be there. Second of all, I don't know where he is."

Clemont nodded and told Bonnie. They exited the house and went to go look for Ash.

The time passed and it soon became night. Serena went to sleep around 10:00 o'clock, but then she woke up around midnight. When she opened her eyes she saw the Lilac that Ash gave her. She pushed the covers off of her and she jumped off of the bed. She had a nightmare and she didn't want to go back to sleep.

She walked over to it. She didn't have anymore tears. She couldn't even cry, she wanted to, but she didn't have any tears left. Instead she stood there and starred at the Lilac. Then she looked in the mirror over it. She saw the necklace that Ash gave her. Hanging from her neck. She hated it. She unlocked the lock in the back of the necklace and pulled it off of her. She looked at it in her palm. Then she grabbed it tight and then threw it against the wall. She didn't know what to do anymore. Her life felt like it was falling apart. It's been 2 days now since she's been in her room. She's hated every moment of it but she rejected going back outside. She never wanted to go back outside ever again. All the pain she felt was overflowing, leaking out as she cried, but now she couldn't cry so instead of leaking out she thought about how she would live without Ash. The pain overflowing, not being able to escape. It was midnight and just like every night ever since Ash left, she had a nightmare of him. Of him rejecting her. After seeing to many she decided to just admit that Ash wasn't coming back. She didn't want to go back to sleep. She didn't want to see the same rejection again.

The pain hurt more then ever, it couldn't even compare to the giant rock that pierced through her stomach. This one hurt more then imaginable. It attacked her heart, making her weak and mad. Everything turned dark and gloomy. She wanted to see the sun again. It felt as if she was shot in the heart a thousand times. Nothing could heal the holes. Every hole hurt her heart as it struggled to beat, to keep her alive.

She looked at the candle next her. She decided to get a match and light it. She lit the candle with the match and watched it burn. It made the corner of the room light up slightly. The candle gave the flowers a shadow that hit the wall. Stretching out towards Serena's bed.

"It's so strange." She whispered. "You're not alive, yet you need oxygen to live." Serena looked at the flame. She then looked over to the flower. "You need oxygen too, but you also need sunlight, water, like humans. What makes us so different?" She looked at it, the leaves falling down towards the top of the cabinet, next to the candle.

She wondered if plants could go to heaven. They were alive after all. They had to have everything they needed in order to live. You could even make a hybrid plant. It was all so strange to her. Nothing made sense at the moment. She just wanted to change her thoughts, to get away from the pain.

She looked back at the flame. She thought of the inventions that Clemont made. She thought of Clembot, the robot that took care of the gym while Clemont was gone. Clembot. Was he alive? We need electricity to bring life and that's what Clembot was right? You could bring back someone with volts of electricity, so did that mean that we were robots.

"But their just metal and gears." She said.

But then she laughed and smiled, "And we're just flesh and blood." She looks down at her hands.

She looked back up at the flowers and candle. "Man," she laughed. "I really do think of weird stuff at night."

she decided to go back to bed so she laid back down. After a while she closed her eyes and went to sleep.

When she opened her eyes again, she didn't remember any of her dreams which was comforting. She looked out the window, while still laying down. It was still dark outside. She felt her back get warm and she turned around. The flowers, cabinets and the wall that was behind the cabinet was on fire. She gasped as she saw it. The candle must of lit one of the Lilac's pedals. The flames reached roof and started to spread.

She jumped out of her bed and headed for the bathroom and got cups of water. She threw it onto the fire, keeping it down, but it didn't stop it from spreading. She poured the water onto the flowers, putting out. The pedals were all burnt off and the stem was wrinkled as it drooped towards the ground. The fire reached her bed, setting on fire and lighting up the room. She ran for the door or escape her room, but the fire already reached there as well. She searched the windows, but all of them were to not openable.

She ran back and forth, trying to find someway to escape, but there was nothing. The bed frame fell down and Serena ducked to the ground, avoiding it by inches. Instead the bed frame it the cabinet, knocking it over, including the flowers. The vase shattered, spreading glass all over the floor. Serena looked at the burnt Lilac as she laid on the floor. She looked at the shattered glass and then the burnt flowers. There was flames behind it, ready pounce onto the Lilac. The flames devoured it. Soon only the flames could be seen. The reflection of the flames could be seen in Serena's eyes. She stood up and stood there, not knowing what to do as flames surrounded her. Ready to devour her next... She sat there in silence as the flames devoured.
