MyPOV~~

A soccer ball flew over my head as I jumped to reach it. I chased after it, only to have it stolen by Louis. He dribbled it passed me, then kicked it up in the air. Harry flew over and head-butted into the goal.

"Gooooooaaaaaaaalllllllll!" Louis screamed. He held up and hand and Harry swooped down and high-fived it.

I fell backwards and landed on my butt exhausted. "Guys, this isn't fair," I whined throwing my hands up in the air. Niall walked over to me and helped me up, this hand remaining on my waist.

"What? The wings?" Louis asked, spreading his out.

"No, your shoes," I said sarcastically, pointing to his Toms.

Harry crash landed into Louis before he could respond. They rolled a few feet away, laughing like crazies. I shook my head.

'Boys.'

"I'm going to get some water," I told Niall and he let me go.

I crossed the parking lot to the tour bus. After the concert in Charleston, we drove even further from Florida. The boys did two concerts in New York and now we're in Washington D.C. It's about 8:30 at night and the sky is still an orange color even after the sun set. Washington skies are something else.

I boarded the bus and searched the cabinets for a glass. My back pocket started buzzing and singing What Makes You Beautiful. Probably Liam or Zayn asking what brand of feminine products I perferred. I put my glass on the counter and answered my phone.

"Liam? I told you, it doesn't matter," I said into the phone.

"Uh, honey, this isn't Liam," a familiar female voice says.

"Mom?" I asked, my hands shaking.

"Yes, honey, where are you? We miss you," she says in her I'm-sorry-lets-make-this-up voice.

"Oh, now you miss me?" I shout into the phone. "You should of said that when I was still in the state and I don't think I want to come back! You don't want me, whatever, but I'm happy now!"

A different voice came over the speaker. A male voice. "Martha, she doesn't know what she's saying."

"I do know what I'm saying! Ryan, Martha, just leave me alone!"

"Hey, since when do you call your father and I by our first names?" Martha asked.

"Since you kicked me out of the house!" I yelled. I ended the call before she could say anything else.

Enraged, I threw my phone at the wall, only for it to be caught by Louis who has a puzzled look on his face. I stood frozen, not knowing what to say. Did he hear all of that? What did he hear? What's he ging to say? Should I say something?

"Um, hey, Louis," I said, rubbing my arm nervously. "What did you hear?"

"All of it," he answered, giving me back my phone.

I put my phone back in my pocket and thanked him for catching it.

"Mackenzie, what was that all about?" He asked.

"Oh, it was just, uh, I-uh," I stuttered. I looked into his welcoming blue eyes and lost it, I threw myself into his arms and cried.

He sat us down on the couch, rocking me slowly. He stroked my hair while whispering, "shhh," in my ear.

Once I calmed down, I wiped my eyes and crawled out of Louis's lap.

"I'm sorry," I said.

"It's okay," Louis said, patting my thigh.

"You probably want an explaination." Louis shrugged.

"You don't have to tell me, if you don't want to, but if you're in trouble, you can tell me," he assured me.

I shook my head, starring down at my hands. "I'm not in trouble, at least I don't think so. That was my mom on the phone. She wants me back home."

"Well, we can pay for a plane ticket if you need to-"

"No," I interupputed. "I don't want to go home. You see, when I turned 16, my ex-boyfriend dumped me, hard! I guess I was so in love with him that when , did it shattered me. I just lost it. My grades dropped, I stopped hanging with my friends, I completely shut the world out. My parents didn't want a failure of a daughter so they kicked me out. I was headed to Orlando when I used my last couple bucks for a ticket to your concert. And now I'm here and never going back."

Louis has a shocked look on his face. He blinked several times and blew out his lips. Finally he spoke. "That's awful. I-I don't know what to say. Well, your welcome to stay with us as long as you need."

"Thanks Louis." I pulled him into a hug. "Now, if you play on the ground, I think I can kick your butt at soccer."

"Oh, we'll see about that." Louis challeneged and ran out the door. I followed him and we started another game of soccer.

*Okay, I lied. This isn't as great as I pictured it in my head, but tell me if you like it or not and vote plz!*
