Chapter 9 ⚜ Megara

Shoes pound the tile floor of the hospital. Jackson bullets around the corner past a sign reading: ICU. He's closely followed by two deputies escorting him.

From between a group of plainclothes officers, Noah Stilinski and Bobby Singer notice Jackson pushing through "Where's Lydia? Where is she?"

Noah's usually kind and gentle demeanour vanishes. Grabbing Jackson by the coat, he yanks him against a wall "What the hell happened to that girl?" 

Jackson shakes his head, stammering out a response.

Bobby shouts "I'm gonna hit you boy" heading towards Jackson

Noah holds Bobby "Robert wait" He turns to Jackson "Talk, boy"

Jackson shrugs "I--I don't know--I went out looking for her--"

Noah tries to hold his nerve "And what? You wandered into the middle of a field and just found her like that?"

Bobby feels helpless "Talk, What happened? My daughter dying there"

Jackson to him "It's not my fault"

Bobby says "She's your girlfriend--"

"No, she's not. I didn't go with her to the formal."

Bobby stares at him, why the hell, Lydia didn't tell him that they broke up?

Noah wonders "Then who did?"

Jackson answers "Stiles"

"What?" Stilinski and Bobby together while sharing a look.

Jackson nods "She went with Stiles" 

Noah lets him go with worry and takes the strength out of his voice to his deputies "Somebody find my son."

In the waiting hall, Noah and Bobby are together, Bobby calls Sam for hundred times but no answer, Bobby wonders "Where the hell are they?"

Noah says "I will make sure to kill them both"

Grayson Gilbert walks out of Lydia's ICU to them while Stiles and Sam rush in to find the group of classmates keeping vigil for Lydia. Gasping for breath from running, they slow their pace.

Everyone looks up at them, all clearly worried. Sam is all over his suit blood.

"There he is" Noah turns from Grayson Gilbert and hurries down the hall to his son "It's a good thing we're in a hospital. Because I'm going to kill you."

Bobby asks "Where the hell both of you were?"

"I can explain not here. Where is Lydia, Bobby?" Sam breathes hard and looks at Stiles.

Stiles still breathing hard "I had to run here. My Jeep--the keys--lost my keys" His gasps slow, however, as he notices the intensive care unit behind his father, Bobby, Sam and Jackson listened in to their conversation nearby "Lydia--"
