Sean:
I don't know.
I think we're extending pa for an hour.
Di ko sure 'cause Sir Ricky's
been a bit on edge.

Joaquin is typing...

Joaquin:
You hungry, Dude?
Want me to get you anything?

Sean is typing...

Sean:
Not naman. Kaya pa, Joaqz.
Where you pala?

Joaquin is typing...

Joaquin:
Tambay lang with sila Artie.

Joaquin is typing...

Joaquin:
Could go clubbing daw. Depends.

Sean is typing...

Sean:
Okay. But if you guys need to go na, I can manage ha. You don't need to pick me up.

"Sean, your cue..."

Sir Ricky: No! No! No! It doesn't feel right.

Shouts Sir Ricky from the audience area.

If you're wondering what I'm doing here again, then need na natin mag-catch up. You see, after performing as Sebastian in a production of Twelfth Night during my freshman year, I decided to join Tanghalang Ateneo [TA] as a member of the org. And since then  I have acted in a total of five TA productions at the RMT and the venues at the Areté.

That in part, made me decide to make Theater Arts and Sociology my Interdisciplinary Studies track.

*Taray right? But it's not as glamorous as it sounds though. My Quality Point Index almost didn't make it end of Junior year.*

Sir Ricky: What's the problem ba, Darryl? This is a one act play with less than 36 minutes running time.

Si Darryl,  he's new. More like I think nasa Junior year na siya pero he's acting in the anthology of one act plays showcase ng TA for the first time.

Sir Ricky: You are dragging critical emotional keypoints that shouldn't be.

*Poor guy. He looks so kawawa sa stage now. Ang tangkad pa man din niya tapos ganito siya bigyan ng dressing down ni Sir Ricky.*

Darryl: Sorry sir. I'll pick up the pace.

His voice is medyo shaking na.

Sir Ricky: I don't think I'm getting through you, hijo. It's not the pace -it's how the character expresses these specific actions mentioned in the script to move this forward!

Silence...

Sir Ricky: Kawawa naman si Sean -your scene partner. I'm sure naman you can feel na he's giving you so much to work with.

Darryl looks at me. Nakatayo ako sa stage right wing after I made my exit.

Winnie pero tunay na si Wilfredo: Ayan na naman siya. Baka mag novena to the Holy Trinity na naman si Sir Ricky nito dahil kay accla.

Winnie whispers from behind me.

I shoot a sharp yet curious look at Winnie.

Sean: Accla? Is he- no kaya?

I whisper back.

Winnie pero tunay na si Wilfredo: Naku! Naku! Naku! Ang gaydar mo, Sean, the design is very walang app update. Di ba scene partner mo yan?
