Jake: Buti naman! Saan ka ba nagsusuot?

We get to the lobby of Saint Luke's BGC just before 5:00am.

Sean: How's Aunt Agatha? Where is she na ba? Can I see her na?

I shoot my questions at Jake who is waiting there with Kelso.

Jake: O ngayon nagkakandarapa ka sa pag-worry sa Tita Agatha? Hindi pa puwe— Saan ka ba kasi—

*Talagang now mo pa ako aawayin? Like I need to know anong nangyari kay Auntie Agatha?*

Sean: Puedeng later na yang pangungulit mo, Jake? I wanna see Aunt Agatha—

Jake: Eh hindi nga puwede agad-agad, Se. Kailangan mo pa magpa-swab test bago ka magka-access.

He shuts me down.

Sean: What?

Jake: May COVID pa sa Pilipinas, Se.

Okay. That makes sense.

Joaquin: I'll ask how he can get prioritized—

Kelso: Hold on —Joaquin, Jake, I'll do it— Ako na sasama kay Sean. It's best na you two just stay here.

Kelso suggests.

Jake: Sige.

Joaquin: Okay.

Sean's P.O.V.

Sean: Thank you.

I say to Kelso while umupo siya beside me.

Kelso: I hate hospitals.

Sabi niya after heaving a a sigh.

Sean: Same.

I mumble as I watch a middle-aged woman approach yung COVID-19 testing assistance desk that we just inquired from.

Kelso: Na-contact na pala ni Jake ang Tita Agnes— she will be the one to inform Doña Doray and Doña Idang.

Kelso informs me habang he's checking one of his three phones.

Sean: Lola.

I correct him.

Sean: They're our Lola Doray and Lola Idang —that means yours too.

He smiles.

Kelso: You sound like Jake.

He says na parang halos natatawa siya.

Sean: I'm just a little afraid how my Lola Doray would take the news —she's 90.

I explain to him.

Kelso: Kaya nga, since your Mom's not in the country, much better na Tita Agnes is the one that informs her.

*Kung may person na thinks one step ahead, itong si Kelso mga two or three steps ahead pa nga.*

Sean: That reminds me— No one's told Mom yet?

I suddenly remembered.

Kelso: I think Jake called your Dad na— hirap mo kasi macontact kanina. Not sure lang if natawagan na si Mom mo in Australia.

Sean: Sorry about that.
