Date Night - Draken

You and Draken we're finally going for a date after weeks of barely seeing each other. He finally told Toman he was taking the night off - that was until they crashed the restaurant.

It had been almost 2 weeks since you last properly saw your boyfriend. Being vice Captain of a gang kept him busy, every time you guys planned something it was ruined by some fight or urgent matter. While you loved how well he took care of his friends, you were starting to grow tired of being second fiddle.

Tonight you were promised it was only the two of you, a nice dinner, a walk through the park and he was coming back to your place. You couldn't help but feel excited, almost like a first date. When he picked you up and his face lit up seeing you all the other stuff disappeared and it was just the two of you, smiling at each other like idiots.

He took you to a nice restaurant, pulling your chair out and acting like a perfect gentleman and making you blush.

A commotion started at the front of the restaurant, Draken happily ignored it enjoying his food and listening to you talk about how school had been, you were on your way to being a photographer and we're also taking a Business course so you could run your own Business.

You were happily chatting away when something caught your eye.

"Ah Ken?" He looked up at your puzzled voice. You were watching the commotion at the front of the shop but he ignored it.

"Leave it baby, not my circus not my monkeys. Someone else can deal with it" he said matter of fact. You raised an eyebrow as you saw Mikey pop up with Smiley behind him, both of them saw you looking and quickly ducked while the waitress was trying to shoo them out. The longer you looked the more Toman members you saw popping up over the place.

Takemichi and Chifuyu sat in another booth trying to look inconspicuous. You sighed dropping your fork and leaning back in your chair. Ken looked at you concerned, you raised and eyebrow nodding to the front of shop.

"I think you better look again, your monkeys got loose" he spun in his seat and angry expression settling over his face as he noticed the others.

"I'm sorry baby, I had no idea" he started but you put a hand up.

"It's fine, just go help the waitress I'm gonna head home" the fight just wasn't there tonight, you knew he would go wrangle them outside but then they'd cause more trouble and the whole night he would be concerned about where they were. They would undoubtably be following the two of you everywhere.

"No, please stay I'll get rid of them" he pleaded, you felt horrible knowing he was trying and as angry as you were and yet -

"Yeah Ken, for 5 minutes and then they'll pop up again causing some other issue like they always do" you sighed looking down. It was so hard to date him when you were constantly competing for attention with grown children. You wondered how long you could keep dealing with this, you liked his friends and didn't mind hanging out with them but they never gave you more than 5 minutes alone. You were almost afraid to have sex expecting one of them to pop up somewhere and ruin that to. It had happened more than once.

"It's fine I've got early classes so I should go anyway" you tried to pay but he wouldn't let you. Standing on your tip toes you kissed his cheek, you felt how his hand went around your waist, hesitating to let you go. When he saw the look on your eyes he let you go, you left heading home full of disappointment. Getting to the door the Toman boys tried to make a joke with you but when they saw you about to cry they quietened down eyes widening.

Draken watched you leave with sad eyes, he could feel he was on the verge of losing you and honestly he couldn't blame you. It had been weeks since the two of you had last gone out, he cancelled on you continuously because of Toman and whenever you did manage to go out his friends just appeared ending your date early. He stormed to the front glaring at his friends.

"Out now" his voice was low and warning, everyone moved quickly.

"Where'd Y/N go?" Mikey asked obliviously.

"She left because again you assholes crashed our date!" Draken yelled frustrated.

"I'm going to lose her because of you idiots!" his yelling held a hint of desperation, trying to make them understand.

"What do you mean?" They asked confused.

"Every date I have taken her on all of you appear causing havoc and ending our date! This was the first time I've seen her in 2 weeks and you guys couldn't even give me 1 night?!" He stormed away unable to handle them anymore.

The boys sat there quietly looking after Draken as the boy pulled at his hair while walking away trying desperately to call and text you.

"Guys I really think we messed up" Takemichi stated the obvious, rubbing the back of his neck and thinking over how many times they had crashed Draken's dates. It had been fun for them, a game even - they hadn't realised how badly it was impacting Draken and your relationship.

"We need to fix this" Mikey said quietly worried that he had just ended his best friends relationship.

It had been a week since you'd seen Draken, the date that ended sadly hanging heavily over you both.

While feeling that your relationship was hanging by a string you were unsure how to save it. Draken seemed to be in the same boat. You called and texted everyday but it seemed void, as if you were both waiting for the other to call it to an end.

Sighing for the 100th time that night you walked away from your study desk, irritated that nothing was sinking in because of your relationship troubles. You had just grabbed a drink when there was a frantic pounding on the door. Jumping you slowly made your way over worried about what might be on the other side.

"Y/N it's Mikey, open up please" letting out a shuddering breath you opened the door to see a frantic Mikey pacing,

"Mikey?" your voice was quiet as a feeling of dreed settled over you, Mikey was never like this.

"Y/N it's Ken, he's been hurt" Mikey struggled to get the words out, you ran in grabbing your keys before racing past Mikey.

"Let's go" you called out, he was quickly behind you. You felt nauseous as he took off, fear numbing your body as the worst thoughts came to mind. How badly was he hurt? Was he going to be okay? Why hadn't you fixed things earlier?

You tried to ask Mikey how bad it was but he shook his head. Tears fell as you tried to keep it together. You couldn't tell where he was taking you and you were even more surprised when you reached a park. Follow me, was all he said running off, you didn't hesitate chasing after him.

"Mikey, where the fuck is Ken!" you were ready to have a meltdown when you heard his voice.

"Y/n?" his head flew to you and you saw that he was okay, he was absolutely fine. You ran to him jumping into his arms before you collapsed in disbelief and happiness.

"What's wrong? Mikey what the fuck did you do?" Ken started soft before yelling at Mikey.

"I kinda told her you were hurt" he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I knew she wouldn't come with me any other way and I had to get her here" he said sheepishly.

"What's going on?" Ken demanded holding you tightly, you had stopped crying and were just enjoying the closeness to him. Mikey motioned for Ken to follow him, walking further behind some tree's you looked and saw a beautiful picnic set up with candle light and a bunch of your favourite snacks.

"Listen, we're really sorry that we've been crashing your dates, we thought it was fun and didn't realise how difficult it was making things on you" Mikey said genuinely. "We've set this up and everyone's on orders to leave you two alone for a couple days, I can't promise we'll never crash a date but we'll try to stop" he gave a small smile.

"Mikey thank you" you walked over to him giving him a small kiss on the cheek and making him blush.

"Right well I'm out, have fun" he left running off into the darkness. You turned to Ken who was looking at you with a soft smile.

"Hey baby" Ken smiled holding a hand out for you.

"Hey" you smiled walking into his arms, for the first time in ages you felt happy, content and excited for your unexpected date.
