Jealousy - Emma Sano Part 2

You sat by Mikey at the arcade, Emma had asked you to come along and you couldn't say no.

It has been almost three months since you started 'fake' dating but every day it all seemed more real.

The stupid beanpole hadn't confessed but was now stuck in some stupid competition with you trying to win Emma's attention. Whenever he was really pissing you off you would hold Emma or kiss her somewhere and smirk at him, only it wasn't just in front of him anymore. Walking home you would hold hands or your arm would be over her shoulders. When you hit on her or flirted with her, her whole face would turn crimson and at her house you would cuddle and more than a few times you'd kissed or made out. 

You were too afraid to ask if this was just practice because you didn't want it to end.

Despite how close you were, how well it was going she still had feelings for Draken as well, and each time it felt like a kick to the chest when you saw her with him because you knew it was only a matter of time before he stole her from you.

"What are you doing?" Mikey asked watching his best friend and his sister. He was in on your plan but he caught on quick, watching you fall more and more for his sister. 

"Honestly, I have no idea, it was fun in the beginning but now it just sucks" you sighed leaning back in your seat.

Mikey was the only one who knew what was going on, when Draken was around you often went to chill with him because even if you stayed by Emma, he was doing everything he could to get her attention.

"You can always end it you know, call if off and walk away, before you completely fall for her" he commented and you sighed,

"it's a bit late for that" he nodded, he needed to make sure.

"I should have just fallen for you, at least your available" you said looking at Mikey, you both stared at each other for a moment before bursting out laughing. The two of you got along well, even becoming good friends. 

"What would you do to stay with Emma?" he asked quietly, you looked to him wondering what kind of craziness was going through his head today but as he looked at you, you saw the earnest look. With another sigh you answered.

"Just about anything".

The conversation died out between you and Mikey after that, he got up heading to Draken and sending Emma back to you.

"Hey babe" you smiled as she sat next to you, snuggling into your side instantly.

"Today has been so much fun" she smiled up at you and you couldn't stop the smile on your own face. Everything melted away when she was looking at you with that stunning smile and wide eyes. 

"I'm glad your enjoying yourself." you smiled down tucking loose hair behind her ear.

"I'm tired" Mikey said re-joining the table making you chuckle but not take your eyes off of her.

"Time to go home then" you suggested, fingers on her chin tilting her head up. She grinned widely shaking her head, a pink dusting her cheeks.

"I told you, we have a family thing tonight"

"Ahh" I threw my head back dramatically, causing her to giggle and rest her head on my chest.

"Y/N, We better go, I'll walk you home" all eyes went to Draken, I knew there was confusion all over my face but he pinned me with a stare almost demanding I go with him. Maybe this was it? We would fight it out and finally one of us would have Emma.

"Sure, let's go" I smiled at him and he looked a little relieved although he was clearly wound tight.

"See you tomorrow darling" I said giving Emma a kiss, knowing it might be our last. Pulling away I saw her crimson face and smiled, running my thumb over her soft lips.
