── SOPHIA WRINKLES her small upturned nose, the top turning a flush red as the cool breeze sweeps across her face.

Priscilla's arm is tightly interlocked with Sophia's, the two giggle while they walk down the street, their laughter was the only noise that filled the stale air.

"You remember... the time Elizabeth broke her nose after we pushed her down that one hill," Sophia laughs leaning over.

Priscilla laughs harder than before, her stomach almost hurting from the amount of laughter filling the two, "and her ma banned her from sledding with us again."

"oh god... i forgot about that." Sophia giggled, her small black heeled shoes clattering against the floor.

"i miss Texas." Priscilla ruins the moment.

"mmm." Sophia nods, her trained eyes on the ground, "i miss our normal life."

Small raindrops start to drizzle down, each water droplet leaving small marks on the stone path in-front of them. The rain starts off small before a full blown storm starts. The small raindrops turning into many larger raindrops, one plopping itself right on Priscilla pinched nose.

The cold water dripping down her face into her lips, she wipes it off her face with the back of her hand. Her hair sticking to her forehead as the rain pours harder.

"We should go before we get soaked," Sophia looks up at the sky, opening her mouth to catch a few raindrops.

Priscilla's pace quickens along with Sophia's. The girls break into a run, the rough stones turning slick under their shoes. The shoes made it no easier, the grip completely slipping. Sophia lost her footing a few times but was evenly supported by Priscilla, catching each other.

Priscillas foot slips under her after crossing a particularly wet spot on the stones. Priscillas arm still intertwined with her sisters.

Priscilla let out a high pitched shrill as both her feet slipped from underneath her. Priscilla falls down, she fails straight on her butt. Letting out a groan.

"CILLA... PRISCILLA- LET GO." Sophia ushered, trying to wiggle her small arm out of Priscilla's.

Her pleads went under heard, Sophia falls backwards and dramatically falls on top of Priscilla, her small frame making contact with Priscilla's. A small groan comes from both who are seemingly sprawled out on the wet ground. The rain still heavy.

"You did not just drag me down with you.... you did not." Sophia tried hiding smile with a low set frown.

She looked down at Priscilla who was stifling her giggles with her hand placed over her mouth, Sophia quickly moves off Priscilla. Examining her expression. Priscillas mouth is wide in a toothy grin, an explosive laugh coming from Priscilla all too suddenly. Sophia laughs along with Priscilla, completely forgetting about their many school books scattered along the damp ground. The rain smudging all the writing in the process.
