── SOPHIA STEPPED OUT of the shower onto the cream bath mat and covered herself in a fresh fluffy towel. She unfogged the mirror with her wrist, looking at her clean reflection. She changed into her pink bathrobe before pressing her hair dry and wrapping it. Carefully Sophia opened the bathroom door, letting the misted air seep into the hallway.

She got to her bedroom and picked out a lacy pink nightgown which her father had bought her when he'd taken a trip to Paris. The flowy fabric stopped just below the knee, Priscilla joked she looked like a grandmother in it but Sophia adored it.

"SOPHIA!"

Sophia jumped at the sudden shrills coming from the hall.

"SOPHIA!!" Another yell came louder than before.

A few clunky footsteps followed and the door flung open. Priscilla smiled, showing off the soft lines near her eyes.

"I've been calling you!" Priscilla exclaimed the radiant smile still beaming.

"Sorry... what's got you so happy?" Sophia lifted a brow and laughed under her breath at Priscilla's childish grin.

"You'll never guess who's on the phone," Priscilla started.

Sophia turned to the mirror and picked up her hairbrush. Brushing through her thick brown hair in swift movements. "Uh... I don't know. The pope?" A teasing smile grew on her face.

Priscilla rolled her eyes in response holding back the scoff that wanted to come out.

"Im being serious." A smile started to reappear on Priscilla's rosy face, "It's Elvis! He finally called like he promised!"

Elvis...

Sophia froze. Faltering for a moment and almost dropping her hairbrush. Her mouth hung open and her face turned pale.

"Sophia? Did you hear me?" Priscilla walked towards Sophia waving a hand in-front of her eyes, "Elvis called. He wants to talk to you."

"E-Elvis..." sophia trailed off putting down her hairbrush onto the wooden vanity. Her damp hair dripping a few drops onto the carpeted floor.

"Can you believe he called?!" Priscilla beamed before tapping Sophia's arm lightly, "Hurry before he hangs up or dad picks up."

Sophia stumbled through the hall in a daze of confusion while Priscilla hurried her along. She stopped at the white and phone which hung on the wall. Priscilla handed her the receiver revealing her excitement.
