Kailani sat at her vanity as she got ready for her second to last blind date. She was contemplating if she should just cancel the date, but then she remembered that free food, and wine came with it. And if they truly were serious about this? They'd buy the expensive wine.
Kailani's favorite alcoholic drink was wine - if that wasn't noticeable. It wasn't too harsh, but it was soothing. She loved nothing more than sitting on her large sectional couch, while watching movies, and sipping on a nice glass of wine.
She had been getting ready for the last hour and a half now, starting with her everything shower, besides hair, and then finding an outfit to wear, then her makeup. She was doing her finishing touches of her makeup as she sat at her vanity, already dressed.
She did her final coat of mascara and she got her purse, tied her heels on, and left her room. She had to call Alohi, to confirm where the dinner was. As the phone continued to ring, she was wondering if she was even going to awnser her phone.
Hearing the sound that indicated a connection, she sighed in relief.
'Hey girl - oh you look cute' Alohi had dragged the 'e' from 'cute' out to get her point across.
"Thank you ma'am, but I'm going to need the address of the restaurant. I mean - if you don't want to, I guess I could stay home and lay on the couch." She shrugged as she sighed, making it seem that she was down about skipping the date. But in reality, that's all she wanted to do.
'1170 Howell Mill Road. Get to steppin'" Alohi laughed.
"Alright, well I gotta go, or else I'll be late." She waved goodbye to the camera before kissing it 2 times and hanging up.
Making sure she locked her apartment after herself, she walked down the hallway and into the elevator.
Walking into the parking garage, she immediately set eyes on her Bentley convertible AIGT 2023, it was in a blue colour. As she walked up to it, she unlocked it, and set her purse on the passenger side door. She connected her phone to the Bluetooth, and started her drive to the address given.
After a 30 minute drive, she pulled into the parking-lot of Marcel's. She knew about this restaurant, and how nice it was. But she's never been. After parking her car, she pulled her phone out, sending a text to Alohi.

8:35 p.mAfter grabbing her purse and stepping out of her car, she made aware of her surroundings. She locked her car 3 times, before walking to the front of the restaurant. Walking inside, she went to where the check-ins were, since you couldn't get in without a reservation.
"Um - Hello, good evening ma'am, I'm here for a blind date, I don't know what name it's under, I'm so sorry." She quickly apologized.
"Oh, no Miss. You're perfectly fine. I know exactly who's party that is. Follow me," the waiter had picked up two menus, before walking towards the back of the restaurant. "Now, you are first of the party to show up, so would you like anything to drink?"
"Oh, yes please. Uhm - actually any red wine is fine. Thank you ma'am." She was going to get a water and wait for the wine until the guy showed up, but she changed her mind.
"Of course ma'am, would you like a glass, or the entire bottle?"
"Just a glass for now is fine. Thank you so much" She smiled at the waiter as she sat down in her chair. She glanced around her surroundings, she liked where her table was. She liked how it was in the back corner - where nobody was on her sides. She was facing the wall, so she wouldn't be able to tell if anyone was approaching.
