christmas!

"Koko."

"Koko."

"Wake up ma."

"Ma."

"How you sleepin' so deep right now?"

"Kailani."

She finally showed signs of life, by pushing his head away and covering his mouth.

He stood there, giving her a dirty look although she couldn't see, cause of her eyes still being closed. Until he took her hand off of his mouth, and continued to try to get her to wake up.

"Wake up."

"It's Christmas ma, wake up."

"What time is it?" She groaned.

"7:43."

She sighed, rolling away from him, and shoving her head down into her pillow again.

     "Cmon, I want you to see what you got ma."

"It'll still be there when I wake up." She mumbled.

"You gon' be happy when you see this."

"You're going to be happy when you see my gift but I didn't wake you up." She said.

"Ma, cmon, I promise you can go back to bed when you done."

"Five more minutes?"

"No. Get up Koko."

"I'll be out there in a minute, just go out there and wait." Her face was still stuffed into her pillow, and she waved him off with her left hand.

"I kno' you lying Koko."

"I'm not. Just give me a minute."

     He gripped onto her wrists, dragging her into a sitting position.

     "Cmon ma," He gave a kiss to her temple, "let's go see whatchu got."

     "You go out, I'll be out in a minute."

     "You're not goin' back to bed."

     "I know, I'm not. I'm going to brush my teeth." She sighed, getting out of the bed, and making her way to the bathroom.

     Duke made his way to the living room, sitting on the couch scrolling on his phone, waiting for Kailani to come out and join him.

     After she used the bathroom and brushed her teeth, she walked into the living room, looking more refreshed but still rubbing her eyes.

     "You ready?"

     "Yeah." She trailed off, before remembering what she got him, "You go first Duke."

     She walked up to the Christmas tree, before getting on her knees and sitting on her heels, patting the floor next to her for Duke to join her.

     She grabbed the first five gifts, since she wrapped them she knew what the packaging looked like, so she knew that these were the Eric Emanuel's.

     She smiled as she saw him opening them, and have a big smile on his face, showing off all of his diamonds.

After he opened his shorts, she handed him the shoes she has gotten him. When he had opened them, he already started to plan his outfits out to her, making her laugh.

"You ready fo' your shit now ma?"

"Nu-uh. You have one more gift." She looked around the gifts for his last gift, the Cuban Link.
