Jake's POV

"Mr. Jake, the paperwork is all organized and ready to sign."

"Thank you Sara, you can now be excused."

(Sarah Nods)

She's stuck in my head.

Her voice.

Her face.

Her eyes.

Her body.

Everything about her is making me insane.

The way she stood up for herself made me interested in her. She's something else. . .

Bzzzz

Bzzz

My phone vibrated.

"Hello?"

"Honey, I called to tell you that Kaitlyn safely arrived at your penthouse already. We arrived around 6 and I told her that you'll be there at around 9 pm. She wasn't feeling well so I made her some tea to ease her headache. I told her to get some rest so please, when you get there don't make a lot of noise. The girl needs to rest."

"Thank you mom, did she sleep in my room? is she okay?"

"Yes hun, she's okay. She just needs to rest because she looks like she hasn't slept for years! her eyes look exhausted, your face seems really pale, her skin is cold and she has a major headache."

"Oh. Mom, i have to go, I have to finish some paperwork for tomorrow's meeting . Thank you for everything. Bye mom, love you Goodnight."

"Goodnight honey! Take care of her Okay? Love you!"

(End of call)

She's sick.

I quickly grabbed my suitcase and blazer then made my way out my office. I was known as being a cold, ignorant, rude, selfish jerk. I honeslty don't care though because nobody would ever have the guts to confront me with such words. I have control over many things.

As I made my way to my black matte camaro, I was thinking about Kaitlyn. Is she okay? should I go get her some medicine? I don't know what to do, great job Jake! Yeah maybe I should go get her some medicine, good idea. The drive to the closest walmart didn't take long. I parked my car right in the front, nobody can tell me anything. The perks of having so much control. I walked in the store at 9:15, it's late and it's a cold night. I walked to the medicine area when I suddenly heard a women whisper, "Is that the hot jackass CEO? He's way hotter in person than in pictures." I turned to face them and crossed my arms. "Ladies, please more respect for me. I won't tolerate those type of comments, especially now that i'm engaged. My fiance wouldn't like to hear those type of comments coming from other women. Let this be the last time please." I stare at them coldly. They stare at me in shock then leave. Hahaha good job jake, i thought to myself. Now, back to what i came for. I grabbed two types of medicine for Kaitlyn. Not quite sure what will help her feel better, I read the labels. I didn't realize that I had spend 20 minutes reading different types of medicine labels when I came to a conclusion that I should probably get all that i had thrown in my cart. I ended up buy 6 different types of medicine. Some syrups, pills, and i also got her an ice pack. Making my way to the cashier, I saw a box of ferrero rocher chocolate. Should I get her some? what if she doesn't like them? what if she thinks i'm trying to play a game with her or something? Nah, it'll just be A Get well type of think. I snatched the box of chocolate from the counter and made my way to the number 4 cashier register.

"Did you find everything alright sir?" the cashier asked.

"Yes, Thank you."

"No- Pro-b-b-lem" she stuttered as she looked up at me.

She stopped scanning and with her bare eyes, started eating me alive with her glare.

I broke the silence with a cough.

"Excuse me Miss, if you don't mind, i'm in a hurry. My fiance is waiting for me to get back with the medicine. Now can you please fasten up the pace."

"Of course, sorry sir. She's a lucky one you know? I don't know anyone who will buy this much medicine for their special one. Not to mention the box of chocolates. Your a keeper, and I bet she knows that." smiled the cashier.

I nodded in agreement. I never thought i'd be that type of man. I payed for everything and headed back to the car. What a weird Walmart experience i though to myself. I guess kaitlyn is lucky.
